Unsure when to harvest. pls help.

So I Was Veg'ing this plant hydroponicly just to rip some clones off of it. It got quite big, so I took a gang of clippings and stuck them in the clonebox. There were still alot of tops left on the plant so I decided to plant it outside and convert it to soil grow. Since then it has started blooming and has produced REALLY nice super purple buds. My only issue is that I dont have a grasp on when i planted it, so idk exactly when to harvest. Its been several weeks maby even a couple good months.
Spicific signs:
1)All The Hairs Have Already Turned To That Orangish Color, from The Top To The Very Bottem Nugs. (as opposed 2 that like yellowish/white color from beginning flowering)
2)The smell is AMAZING. Like something out of a high end strain's at a local so cal club.
3)A small Portion Of The Bottem Popcorn Nugs Are Dieing And Turning Hard and shriviling up n diein and such.

If anyone has any advise or perhaps and other tips that would help me indicate a good time to pull, please feel free to leave a comment.

if its smells smokeable cull that plant and smoke it

From what you say, harvest it. But for the future, invest in a school microscope for $30 or 40 on ebay so you can look at the color of the trichomes.

yeah if shits dyin off id harvest it, but as stated above, get a pocket microscope. i got mine for 12 dollars at radioshack.
