Unsure about spectrum

Ok i am sorry to have to be a noob and ask but i have seen different people using different spectrums of cfl's and i have the red spectrum of my 125w cfl on the plant in veg is this the proper way to have it or should i have the blue side on it for veg? Help much appreciated i lookd on allot of threads and was still unsure and need a direct answer please

use both. blue is for veggie and red is for flower. since you have the one big bulb i take it you have one plant. go get some 23watt cfl and make sure the say 2700 k thats your red spectrum. but as the plant grows keep your big bulb up top and put the 23watt bulbs around the plant

I am growing 2 plants mate i have 1 125 dual spec and 1 21w cfl on them now and when they in flower ill add 3 more 21w cfl's around it.. You answered my question anyway ill put the blue spec on them in veg and flower ill put red
