Unlawful Searches and Seizures

Alright well one of my good friends ordered some spores and went to go pick the package up from the post office today. When he got there he was met with an FBI agent and three of the local police force. They had already open his package containing his syringes without a warrant, confiscated them, and told him that he was lucky he wasn't being arrested on the spot...

So my friend contacted a lawyer and told them the circumstances and was told, "If you wish to file the charges you would be able to sue the Federal Government, State Government, the post office, and the individual officers for up to 23 different charges, and this would be an extremely large federal case." So my friend is in the clear.

Now here come my question, he had sent me a couple texts telling me of his purchase of all his supplies (vermiculite, jars, spores, etc...) Could the police use this in anyway against me or my friend?

These cops were the definition of pigs, going above the laws that they are there to protect.

i dont think it will come back on him. they probably associated it with a terrorist threat, lol. it happened to a friend of mine 6 years ago. he ordered another kit the same day. never heard anything else about it.

Hopefully, but the thing is they told my friend that they opened it because they thought there was steroids in it, and my friend told them that it was just spores and they still took them.

I diddnt know you can order spores online.. They prolly saw the Needles in Xray and had to check it, it could be Hazardous / Heroin / you never know. He wont win in a LAWSUIT. the Judge would make him look dumb and lecture him

yeah you can order spoeres online but theyre not the same in my opinion. cow patty mushrooms and fishtank mushrooms are way different.

Never never never use USPS to mail things like that. Your asking the Gvmt. to deliver illegal substances to you or your door???? Are you nuts?

Welcome to RIU noob.... Most people here have genetics delivered right to their mailbox by Uncle Sam. How else would you suggest seeds get from a warehouse to grower's hands?

Oh...I don't know...maybe UPS...or some other non government mailing service...using USPS will get you additional charges if they want to press the issue...that is reason enough not to use them.

Thanks for the welcome and I was refering to spores not seeds as I think the feds view them differently.
