unique smell eminating Help!!

After 2 weeks of this issue I need help!! It started off at the bottom of the plant with the fan leaves slowly yellowing starting at the tips moving down throughought the leaf, then the tips turn brown and get crispy, and then they kind of drop off of the plant ( if I blow on the leaf, it would easily fall off). This yellowing & dropping of the fan leaves made it's way all the way up to the top of a ,late in the game, flowering plant, taking every fan leaf with it. It is now starting on the small "trimming" leaves on the branches. THe only other thing, is that there is a smell in the room thats hard to explain but I would say moldy/damp smell, just like the smell of a wet towel all roled up for like 7 days (that genre of smell). I checked them for root-bound and didnt see any roots coming out the bottom of the plant at all. My only other thought, is that its either root rot, or some other fungal issue, or maybe because Ive been watering with molasses for like a month on and off, but I have zero experience with these issues, and the girls looks like theyre on a path to destruction. Expreienced & knowledgable growers, I need your help. Thank you and god bless

Sounds like you need to get some air in there. Do you have outside air coming into the room or a exhaust fan to remove the stagnant air from the room? You really need both to do it right. If you dont do something you are gonna get moldy buds when you flower! You need the air so they can breath and transpire properly or yield suffers. Get a humidity gauge and make sure it stays under 50-60% in veg and no more then 40-50% in flower. A combanation temp/humidity guage is about $8. at WalMart! You could put a fan at the door to blow some fresh air in the room. Anything will help. Usually a Nitro deficency starts at the bottom and works its way up. Chek out the plant problems section.

First off thanks alot man appreciate the help. Schulzs plant food plus 10-15-10 is what I used throughout veg and only twice in the begining of flowering. Since then Ive been switching off between 1 TBSP molasses and distilled water evryt other week. And also I flushed them about 2 weeks ago. And about the deficeincy, I thought that at first but it got ample nitrogen throught its life and then learned that root rot disables nutrient uptake in the plant causing defieciencies.

The only other thing that looks like a nitro deficency is a Sulfur deficency. You can try lowering your ph to aroud 6.0 and using a fertilzer that contains sulfur. My book says Sulfur deficencys occur indoors when the ph is too high or when there is excess calcium present and available. Like in hard water or using too much CalMag. Your nutes should have been fine for veg. The recomended NPK is 10-10-10 for veg and 10-30-20 for flower.

If these are the plants in your grow journal, your plants are in their 7-8th week flowering. If this is the case,
your plants are dying because thats what they are supposed to do at the end of flowering. Starting with
the fan leaves.

I have a grow journal?? I had no idea. Anyway 7-8 weeks into it already flushed (thought I wasnt suuposed to nute anymore) and its only happening to the girls in the smaller pots??

Its about that time huh! The ones in the smaller pots would be more rootbound and would lose all the leaves sooner. Makes sense.

If it is that time, then shouldnt all the hairs be red already? Most are still white. and if not is it sgtill safe to nute?? Also when it is that time , its normal for all the fan leaves to discolor, dry up, and fall off?? and if not how do i stop it, afraid Im gonna lose 'em both
