They look under watered
lol someone else said overwatered. I thought it was just the feed being bit to low. First few feeds was an ec of 0.5. I have potted them up since Sunday. Can see some roots poking through the bottom of the holes. I do get to the point where I am watering them daily.

i don’t let the coco go bone dry like I have done in the past. I just usually wait a bit when I first pot up thinking behind it is that it has the roots going out searching more.

i gotta say I feel like they should be ahead more than they are now but suppose the lack of nutes didn’t help. I got one plant that looks shit compare to the rest. I am tempted to perhaps sacrifice it and start watering it more often n see how the roots look. Like I say I get upto watering daily anyway. Just feel like growth is bit slow with them all. Much easier n happier to just run cuttings lol. Want these fuckers to hurry up and take off

yeah kills me having to wait. This is the boring stage I feel as well. Once they get properly rooted and start taking off it’s not so bad.

I just watered the shittest looking one. Not gonna open the tent whole of today and just see how it looks tomorrow. Usually watering as soon as the tops start to look to be drying. That ends up me watering daily. I thought fuck it let’s try this shit looking plant n watering regardless. I mean I have used a Wilma system before and that waters daily regardless don’t it. So yeah just watered the one plant until some run off. Not worried about over watering in coco it’s just wanting the best to get the roots there.

This ain’t my first grow or anything but been doing mostly cuts apart from odd one or two times. They just seem to get going a lot quicker.

what’s your background ec? I’m just going by what the pen says, I know canna recommend building upto that much. Personally I’ve not had to take plants that high though.
Tbh I don't ever measure ec and its not that I have to take them that high, I just take them that high

Cheers man, the roots looked bit shit when I potted up into 2 litres tbh. Not sure why, I wasn’t letting the coco dry out at all. I’m actually thinking perhaps I was too keen with the watering? know you can’t over water coco since I stopped pressing down on the coco when potting up. Think I should of let the pots get a little lighter perhaps.

anyway I potted them into the two litre pots and this time gave em some rhizo. Just a case now of them getting some decent roots with these pots and drinking regularly. Should see them actually growing then an alright size before going into the final pots. Just feel they are way behind at the moment but only myself to blame. Be a lot less annoyed looking at them once they’ve grown. Just gotta wait little longer.

quick update and more questions lol

the plants have grown in size since being potted up in the 2litres pots. Gotta say though I still ain’t seeing any side branches? they are under a 400w. Been a while for me running seeds as been doing clones but don’t recall plants taking this long to get going. They are being watered every two days and roots are there now but not fully rooted yet. I am still tempted to pot them up and get them in my wilma system. Just as the rate of growth with that is always fast tbh. Proper tempted to do that this weekend. Had enough of fucking around.

It’s weird because I’ve got plants where I want them in the past with just hand watering. Just it used to take longer as I was treating the coco like soil. Letting it dry out due to the plants going over watered as I’d packed the coco down to much. But yeah the plants still grew just slower. Makes me question if I should be letting the pots dry a little more than I am. Plants aren’t looking over watered though. Just sorta feels like slow growth. Should probably try get it sorted but jars are already running low.

Either shove the dripper in these smaller pots and run it for 5 minutes as in 2 litre pots or go into the 6l as usual and give em 15minutes a day. The roots always look good with the Wilma and growth is fast. End up switching to hand watering once the roots are there anyway. Can’t be waiting to try fix shit myself may as well just do what I know works for now as need some plants in flower soon as possible.
