smoke tissue culture cuts, supposed to be pretty good, They been doing that with cattle for a minute or too now. Cloning. They cloned all kinds of animals to date. that sheep getting the most attention. Don't have to worry bout disease spread from cow to cow. Can get cells from a good beef or milk producer and keep on keepin on.

All that genetic modification and tampering is exactly why I grow my own food and smoke.

Could be greed or demand why they do it, lil off topic of the OP, but with the population exploding like it is, some are trying to find ways to satisfy the many folks. I think the cloned cows or animals are used for breeders, and the offspring is farmed for milk or beef

I agree with you.

Unfortunately, there's no way of telling what they are doing, what they are using, or its effects.

If they would quit running farmers out of business, demand would be fulfilled in a much healthier fashion... In my opinion.

The way I see young people talk about garbage chemical weed these days, "Bro that shit knocked me out instantly", calling unflushed bud "gas", etc, is it safe to say the effect the modern day pot smoker seeks is nothing more than the effects of nitrogen poisoning?

It's a serious thought. I've toked the hardest purps, chems, Ogs around for hours straight, deep into the morning, and nothing ever knocked me out. Yet that's how the dispensary kids rate the "high" these days. In fact I've never met an "Indica" that wouldn't wake you back up when you smoked more. Even the ladies can hang for a few hours before giving up and nodding off.

These kids today ain't getting high, I know for a fact. I've smelled what they smoke. They are getting knocked out from low oxygen in the blood! And the internet grow community thinks it's acceptable to not know what the fuck they are doing?

How many have to die before the internet growers come out of their denial about ferts in plants? Anyone willing to nitrate test their bud? See what comes back blue? I wonder if they got a phosphate field test?
Nitrate test my buds..... Are you for real..... omg thats low :-)

I formally apologize and retract my statements about you being a fuckface.

I feel that you truly have solid information to deliver, but perhaps it's the way you deliver.

Seriously, I apologize for my insults and my lack of knowledge on the subject. There's a lot out there and it's difficult to decipher fact from fiction.

Furthermore, I will reply to your future postings with the appreciation and respect they deserve.

I lived at Lake of the Ozarks for about 12 years. When I was around "gas" was slang for sour d or anything that smelled similar. If they said kush or valley bud that just meant decent weed. I could get that valley for $60 a half but had to drive down south of camdenton to get it. I miss the lake life.

What in the world are you apologizing for? This guy deserves every bit of trolling he gets. You can't really believe people are getting high on nitrogen and that unflushed bud is dangerous???

While I agree that linking this article to unflushed bud is pretty dumb (why I left my initial post), OP inspired me to do some research. Some on the Internet, some in text book, and some with questioning some old time farmers.

I wound up doing the whole research on the research that I was researching again.

I don't really feel like having a new asshole ripped right now lol, as I am still researching (fucking addicted, all independent deciphering of biased and unbiased info), but OP did make a relevant point in my opinion. He's incredibly wrong about unflushed bud, flushed bud is actually worse according to my findings (not all of it deals with cannabis), but it lead me to research, so for THAT I am grateful.

Knowing what to look for is half the battle, he just showed me where to look.

Of course, this is all my opinion, as science contradicts itself a LOT, but plant functions don't.

In conclusion, a lot of my findings deal with inorganic fertilizers being quite unhealthy, though I wouldn't say dangerous. I used to think the plant didn't care what nute it was up taking as long as it was getting what it wanted, but I think differently now.

Anyhow, STRICTLY my OPINION at the moment lol.

Lol, deeper and deeper and deeper. So much bullshit out there, so I'm basically learning (or trying at least, I retain fairly well) botany, biology, chemistry, and surprisingly, physics all at the same time. It's A LOT!

I will say this though. The cannabis realm harbors a lot of myths and propaganda to sell people shit they don't need to make things worse so they buy more shit lol. Once again, my opinion.

Oh yeah I realized that years ago. You really have to be careful what you believe, which is half the reason I still hang out on this site. I try to help the new folks the way others helped me long ago to learn to navigate the real info from the bull shit. Really that's why ass hats like this guy bother me so much. There are already to many NEW growers running around trying to give advice on things they have read about, or maybe experienced once in their one grow they have done. New growers should be reading, listening and learning, not trying to give advice to others. Then you get guys like this that are both inexperienced and have loud aggressive opinions and like to post long poorly worded bullshit posts all over.

I'm actually a really nice guy, and rarely bother engaging negatively with anyone if I can help it. But every once in a while something has to be said.
