Unfinished attic space for new grow

So I am considering starting my first grow and the only place I can do it is in the unfinished attic space. There is plenty of room up there however the temps are extreme in winter/summer months.120 degrees or more in summer and 30 or so degrees in the winter. I think setting up small insulated 4x4 enclosed areas will be the best option. I will be putting this into action over the next few weeks to take advantage of the cooler temperatures. My concern is that during the dark phase they will get to cold. What is the safest I can allow temps to drop before I have to implement a small space heater. Sorry for the noob question.. And thanks for the input.

Cheapest option would be to actively intake from the living quarters(thermostat controlled) into the thoroughly insulated grow/attic area==== exhaust/scrub out of the roof, chimney, etc...

good luck

You dont have to get to your hvac duct work just bring fresh air in from the ceiling of the room below. Vent out through the chimney if possible.

Yes, from living quarters........ doesn't have to be tapped into duct work, active intake with an inline fan.
