Underground Guerrila Grow Room

So hows this for an idea.
dig a hole in the garden or anywhere you can run power to.
dig it about 4 foot deep and 8 foot wide. well bigger for space to check on it and fit air con etc.
hook a couple of 600 watts in there with fans heaters or air cons etc..

build a wooden frame inside and waterproof it all.. build a roof for it and cover it all over with the natural landscape if its outdoors or if its in a agrden just build a shed over it.

build a trapdoor for it.
would that work?
i mean it would be lightproof soundproof.. and have acces to power and fresh air..
if its well insulated the only way of getting caught is being ratted out or caught in the act.

saves you those scary moments when you hear the police by your house or the unexpected bang on the door.

the hole in the ground would cave in, as well as fill with water if its too deep

you would have to build all the walls out of concrete or brick

bit sus your neighbours see you lifting a trap door in your garden to access it, and as you open it all this bright ass light beams out of the hole

you would need to build a full on cellar and have a descreet way to get in to it, have it powered and water pipes in and drain pipes out and a sump pump to keep the ground water out

major operation, not just dig a hole in the yard...

basically its a crap idea

first of all... im not saying leave it with dirt walls, thats just stupid.
It's basically a grow box underground. build the frame from wood and waterproof it.
and if its in a garden you throw up a cheap shed above the entrance.

and you dig the whole in solid ground not in a water logged area, so no it wouldnt cave in. ever dug out a deep fish pong, piece of piss and i dug one in my yard 6 foot deep and 14 foot long. 2 days...

you could have the rez indoors or in the shed above.. no need for water in there..

i think u would have to make it out of brick/concrete. what happens when u get a hard rain and that wood is the only thing holding that wet dirt back? not good....

but i do think its a good idea, if done right. the plant material above(grass?) would block out the UV rays, so a cop chopper with a UV camera cant see it. maybe not all, but some im sure. also it would have to be a pretty big hole for it to be worth it. i once thought of burying one of those 50ft cargo containers under my yard =P that would be such a sick growroom

I've thought abou this a bit. I'd make it out of concrete. Form it up so you can poor the base and walls in 1 hit and then the lid. I'd be water proof and for when you poor the lid at work we put this platic long strips that amost look like a Z, it's half put into the top of the walls and into the top when you poor it. No water would get in, your just need to plan it well, have all your ducting holes and power/water running threw the walls before you poor it.
In the ground it's always the same temp, so much easier to work with.
I dono if I would dig by hand tho haha

thats a good point about the temps. it would stay way cooler than an above ground growroom

Pour a crawl space then spray with rubberized tar. You may also need a sump with radon lid and appropriate venting depending on radon levels in your area. We're talking alot of money...here in Michigan mud is about $80 a yard plus rebar. Pouring a slab on top and covering it up will be alot of work as well not to mention proper engineering specs.

You'd be better off adding a porch or an addition to your house.

it is feasible to place a grow box underground but i don't think it's a safer idea, police don't just kick your door and find your growroom by accident, and if they already know that you grow, then they will find it. they only have to watch the garden to see and take pics of you opening the growbox lol. i'd find an indoor private spot to grow in and keep my mouth shut about it, maybe smoke less, and take long breaks between grows like i do. this way you will be much less paranoid. seriously, if you dig a hole for real to hide your grow, you gota hit the clinic lmao

back in high school i had a friend who tried to make a underground room. he made a pretty big hole, you could easily stand in it. however... there was some pipeline that ran near the hole and water would seep into the hole. i remember him busting ass trying to drain all the water while trying to dig at the same time he would be muddy ass mess at the end of the day lol. he had to call it quits.. would've taken a small fortunate to fix the water problems and shit. but putting a box in the ground would be a good idea.. deffinitly would require some heavy duty work though

guerilla grows are meant to be on public or some one elses property right? I mean, thats what ive haves thought. I could be wrong. But if so how would you dig a holethat big in your nieghbors garden

It dosnt matter if its solid dirt, ground water will seep in if its more than a couple feet down

To make it worth while, the hole in the ground would need to be big enough that you could walk into it, so your not just taking the lid off a hole in the ground and trying to reach down 4 feet to tend to the plants. I would lay the base slab first, then lay concrete walls in.
But concrete is porus and water will leech in thru it, so you would have to water seal the concrete floor and walls.

Then for the roof, lay some heavy corugated iron sheeting over it, then lay a slab on that with reo mesh in it.

Im not sure you would need a sump pump or not, if you could water proof the concrete...

You would need a power feed from your house on a circuit that could handle all your lights and fans ect, and a water feed, and a water drain which would be hard since you cant use gravity to carry the water away back up, another pump needed for waste water

you know people make these underground grow rooms all the time, and the cops still find them, they just use a dog to sniff it out

you can prevent this to some extent by rubbing a bag of weed all over your house and garage and everywhere, the k9 will be alerted to all areas and no specific area will be pointed out as suspect... you have to re-rub every now and then to freshen up the decoys

just some thoughts...

, sick grow room. and dont worry about the walls caving in, i dug a 6 foot deep hole in my yard and not a drop of water anywhere near, and the walls didnt fall in or anything, just depends ont he soil....
im pretty sure some wood with some waterproof plastic on the outside will do for the walls and floor..
just have a large sheet and then fix beams accros lengthways, insulate and add more wooden sheets.
the roof would have to be waterproofed aswell.. if it was outdoors then it would be difficult to make it look natural afterwards.. but under a shed or porch would be fine i think...

the cops bust grow houses all the time with crap evidence, a bit of heat from an upstairs bedroom and some shit intel and they will raid you... you see it all the time, they raid a house and fine fuck all... it would sure give me some peace of mind..

not long ago i decided to think of a more secret grow room ... i was up strairs and my friend dropped a mirror and if fell down the stairs and smashed at the bottom.. i was in bed at the time...
Can you imagen how fucked up and parranoid i was running to the grow room ready to eat all my clones tripping up as i try to put underwear on so im not busted in the nude.
what would you think if your woken up to ... BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG SMASH!!!!! i would have felt a lot better about the grow being burried lol.

Thats a good idea too... I used to carefully pull back my grass in the yard, dig a hole and burry my weed in a box.. then put the grass backand let it grow over the box.. if i needed it i could still get to it without killing the grass. if you have a dog make sure you bury it under a pile of dog shit... then it wont look so bad when the dog sniffs it, pretty sure they wont dig it up.

well if you're serious about it, then make a shed in which you can dig without raising suspicion. get a big water reservoir in which you can stand up and bury it with the lid at the top as entry. it will take a huge effort to dig it by yourself, and if you hit a rock by bad luck, then you gota start hammering lol
