Well, there has been a bit too much stress I would say folks. I have noticed a few male flowers on the lower growth of this plant. I Have decided to chop it early and save the plant from seeding its self. I think the last week would have made a major differance, however I think at this point, my point is proven!

That is gorgeous woodsman. Did you weave our branches through the screen as they grew, or just kept them under the screen and allowed the new growth to come through the screen. I have been told to weave the branches through during veg, but don't really see the need for the extra stress associated with that. Any insight would be welcomed. You are top notch my friend!

Hey there Boulderheads,
Well there are folks who weave and achieve the same effect. I however take a slightly different approach. As the growth moves up through the screen I measure the vertical growth as lateral potential. Once a top has grown through the screen say three inches or so, and or is noticeably taller than the rest of the "tops", I gently pull the branch back trough the screen and move it "outward" away from the center where it originated. I turn my entire Scrog screen in quarter turns weekly, to achieve full round growth. This gives the whole plant equal opportunity considering bulb shape and light footprint. The results can be seen in the "round" shape of the plant from the under side of the screen.
Another reason for avoiding a weave is that it makes it just that more difficult to remove weather it be for growing purpose or harvest.

Thanks for the wisdom my friend! That is how I started my screen, but then switched to weaving under the advice of a fellow scrogger. I think for my next attempt under a screen I will try to replicate your approach. Good idea with turning the plant too. Makes sense. Keep rocking on my friend.

The Room has been mostly constructed, 8' X 8' X 58"H. There are two scrogs going this time, one 24" X 24" White Rhino Scrog, and a 3' X 4' Arjans Ultra Haze Scrog. As of now, two 400watt HPS.
Ill have photos up ASAP.

Funny, I was just talking to Trident Sea Foods on the phone about an hour ago.
I will be on a long liner in Dec. catching those Cod for you folks buddy!
Call me crazy, but I like deep fried cod much better than halibut!
