Unclebuck's winter wonderland

14 hour day today in the garage. i completely disassembled, cleaned, bleached, repainted, and reassembled (with improvements) one of my four spaces. luckily, it was by far the most intricate and involved grow space. the rest will be far easier, two of them will be almost no work at all.

tomorrow is a day "off" (will harvest a few plants that are also more than ready), and then i'll shuffle plants around so that i can deep clean and rework the next of the spaces.

the goal is to have it all done by thanksgiving, which would be a huge improvement over last year. i'm confident it will be done by then.

well fuck, i should update this beast once in a while. but my indoor grows make me yawn compared to growing outdoors, so once in a long while will have to do.

i took some pics tonight, but the lights have been on for a while so the pics suck. will try to remember to take some pics right at lights on or just before. there's not much to see now anyway, i just harvested the last hangers on in the last few nights and now only have 3 week old flowerers in there.

these are entirely too tall and have to be supercropped every week or so, but their situation was even more dire before i shuffled them to the taller space after the recent harvest. WMD in the front, blueberry in the back.

some pics of the buds under super shitty light, but again, not much to see at this point anyway. especially since i have almost no quick finishers going right now.

i am increasingly interested in this "fat stem" phenomenon.

i have noticed that almost all successful clones get this fat stem. i am guessing that the cloning powder i use scarifies the stem (that is its purpose after all), and the fat stem results from plenty of cloning powder above the burial site when cloning.

just one of those mysteries of growing that may prove useful if i can solve the riddle.

yay, pics are back!

edit: just remembered that i stuck one plant in there a couple of weeks before all the others and it is one of my only early finishers. she's a barney's farm LSD and will be harvested tonight, so pics to follow (and no interference from the HPS in the pics so they'll look normal).

here is the gal. she was a gangly mother who i flowered out of desperation, didn't have many plants to flower at the time and was still busy with outdoor harvest at the time. she turned out looking very lovely after flowering, and probably went a little too long.

my apologies for the shitty photography, my brother and my dad seem to have shared that gene, but not me.

if you don't mind me asking, what cloning powder are you using ? I have been using dip n grow and have 100% success but steams do not look like that !!

i use the one kind that they have at the home depot, forget the name (and i throw away any excess after cloning, i refuse to reuse the stuff).

i might do a run of clones with dip n gro, have used it before and it worked well. interested to see if that also does the fate stem thing.
