UN accuses the USA of Human Rights violations

Considering how awful Republicans are today and have been since Nixon, it's a small wonder that right wingnuts like you would prefer to talk about history from 100 to 150 years ago.

The KKK and racists who support it are today a bulwark of the Republican party.
Do you think requiring people to have IDs is racist? I think very that notion is quite racist.
Do you think the war on poverty has helped black america? Teaching a man to fish is not racist.

Isn't black unemployment at the record lows?

Where is this racism you and your party talk about?

Changing the subject?

The KKK and racists who support it were early supporters for Trump. Trump coddles that group because he knows they are about his only dependable base of support.

You should admit to your error in your earlier post before changing the subject.

No wonder you want to focus on what happened a hundred years ago rather than what your party is doing today. The KKK is Republican in today's political spectrum. Your earlier diatribe has no bearing on politics of today.
Yeah I just don't eat bullshit that the cronies in media are dishing.

Taken from wiki not WaPo

"As a secret vigilante group, the Klan targeted freedmen and their allies; it sought to restore white supremacy by threats and violence, including murder, against black and white Republicans."

"Historian Eric Foner observed: "In effect, the Klan was a military force serving the interests of the Democratic party, the planter class, and all those who desired restoration of white supremacy. Its purposes were political, but political in the broadest sense, for it sought to affect power relations, both public and private, throughout Southern society. It aimed to reverse the interlocking changes sweeping over the South during Reconstruction: to destroy the Republican party's infrastructure, undermine the Reconstruction state, reestablish control of the black labor force, and restore racial subordination in every aspect of Southern life.[60]"
