I have been covering 5 of my plants (5 different unknown strains) for the last 8 weeks, I built a 4ft by 4ft cube frame and covered it with thick plastic from a builders site. i built it into the greenhouse so it only takes a couple of secounds to gently lift them a couple of inches into the dark.

I have been using canna terra vega for veg and flores for flowering, on one of the plants I have been using hammerhead pk 9-18 to see if I noticed a difference, however each plant is a different strain and each is growing differently to the next so I have no way to tell if its doing any more/less.

One of the plants has about 15% amber trichs while the others are 95% milky, 4% clear and 1% amber.

I thought I was going on holiday in a couple of days and was worryed about leaving them the 2 weeks im away but i got the date wrong and im not going for another 2 weeks so will be able to finish them all off and hopefully be able to dry it before I leave.

Anyway heres some nearly finished pics......

Forgot to say, I been putting them away at 6pm everyday then getting up at 6am to take them out everyday insuring they get total darkness for 12 hours.

Last week of flowering for 3 of the plants, only problem is its going to be thick cloud and rain for the next week or so :(

Question...... Can I cut the top colas off and leave the rest of the plant to mature, will it still grow? will the trichs turn amber as normall? or will the plant just die? I know I wont get big fat bud's on the lower branch's but most of the trichs are still milky with a few clear, the top colas look like they only need a few more days (going on trich color)

yes you can. And will still grow. Altho if it was sunnier Im guessing the lower branchers would mature quicker than if you have cloud rain forecast. And if I were you, I wait to at least 20% amber. Pic 1 2 and 3 look like they could do with some more time.
