white fly are a scale and the alcohol breaks the waxy coating that protects it wile its feeding on the plant before it breaks out as the fly

what was your water to alcohol ratio grumpy,and how did you apply
Sorry it took me so long to respond. I mixed it in a spray bottle. 8oz bottle with 2teaspoons of alcohol and the rest water. I agree I wouldn't use it in late flower, but as the op said, his aren't even showing sex yet. I sprayed the soil well, and a light mist on the plant.
Don't spray tobacco on your plants of any sort. Tobacco Mosaic Virus is the most common Cannabis disease and comes from contact with tobacco. I smoke tobacco and if i forget to wash my hands while handling seedlings, clones, etc... i often end up with TMV. Spraying tobacco all over your plants is a recipe for disaster.
That soap you got there should help m8.. at least will slow them down till you get something that will work. That soap you can use while budding but it won't take care of the problem. Have you been able to identify what type of bug it is? If you can collect one on a pest strip or a piece of duct tape take a look at it under a microscope or magnifying lens and match it up to one of the pests.

I didn't go the tobacco route. I used the soap and the pyrithiem/neem oil product. Went through every leaf on every plant. The big fan leafs down at the bottom of the plants had some nasty eggs. Fucking gross. I'd rather have gators and snakes in my grow tent.
Hard to get one of the little buggers, some of them are so small they look like dust. As soon as you touch the flies they disintegrate. I have a kick ass Macro lens I'll get a shot. Look at the underside of some of my leaves. Nasty shit, I got most of them but I guarantee I missed some. I have a small bottle of Azamax on the way (holy crap it's expensive), Spinosad on the way and some yellow white fly strips on the way.
Next grow I'm cutting off the very bottom lower growth. Some of these leaves were touching the coco/soil. Probably my own damn fault I got them, although white flies are a major problem around here.

Like i was saying about azamax.. it's too expensive. Spinosad works better in my experience though i've not had any serious fly infestations. I paid like 20 bucks for that bottle of Monterey Garden Insect Spray.. The Azamax is many times that.
With all that stuff you have it should be plenty, lol. That soap will kill them if you spray them all. Don't think it will kill the eggs though. I thought you said you got some Pyrethrum. That will kill both the flies and eggs. The azamax will too and the Spinosad obviously will too. Well glad you got a plan m8. Neem Oil works similar to Spinosad but not as well with adverse effects such as leaving an undesirable flavor behind. But neem oil does not work as well as those other products i mentioned for bugs.
A friend of mine recently had a thrip infestation, which is probably where my thrips came from. Anyway, instead of asking me or going to the local grow shop he decides to get on the internet and asked for help. Someone recommended neem oil to him. He went to home depot, bought some, and applied it... then he applied it again.. and again..and again.. Fast forward 5 weeks and his thrips are worse than ever. His crops are destroyed and what's left of them taste like walnuts. His moms are dieing too.
So he decides to call me for a shoulder to cry on and to ask for cuts. I recommend Spinosad. I brought him some in a little container and he sprayed it that night. Two days later his thrip infestation is gone. He sprays it one more time to make sure they are dead and runs some through his soil to kill the eggs. This thrip infestation could have been taken care of in a day... instead it went on for 5 weeks because he used an inferior product, neem oil.
Bugs develop immunities just like humans. And with neem oil they become immune real quick.
I would recommend neem oil for fungus or PM in veg or early flower. Or as a repellent in rearing stages but not as a control solution for pests.
