Tying Down Large Plants?

I have a couple BBW girls in my garden and they are thriving!! So much that it's making me a little nervous because they are super tall. I topped almost all of my girls, except for a couple, and those are the ones that are tall. One of them just started budding so she can be more manipulated but my other has more, and more dense, so not sure what I can do with her. My largest girl is now taking over the plants around her. I didn't expect her to grow so big because she had a terrible start and looked dead at one point. Now she's like 8 1/2 feet! . Is it too late to try and tie down? It's like a forest in there. Yes you can tie it down just be very careful not to bend it too much when tying. If it’s into flower, the plant has hardened and branches will not be as pliable and will snap if bend too much so be careful and avoid that otherwise you are good to go
