Just had this happen with an Orange Barb from House of the Great Gardener. Those twins pics are awesome, hoping I get something similar.

Looks like I got the same thing happening here. What to do what to do...shell just came off
I had this last summer. I let them grow a bit and then cut the one that was lagging down by the dirt.

One will be dominant and one will be a tiny runt.

Kill the danny deVito one once they have grown out a bit.

Lol i split them. One doing fine the other... not so much. Their initial leaves were kind of fused together. Devito probably not gonna make it but I’ll update!

I’ve had this happen during my last two grows with Golden Gushers plants. The smaller stalks just ended up acting like a branch. No need to separate them or get a bigger pot.
 
Slow going but they’re coming around. One of the twins only has one cotyledon leaf. My hope is once the first set of leaves take over she’ll be fine.
The other that was only slightly damaged seems to be progressing in line with my others, maybe slightly slower but should pick up. We’ll see how it goes...
