two 2ft 18 watt flos

This is my first grow i have two sprouts about 1 inch tall under two flos the bulbs are Activa 127 full spectrum daylight tubes 6500k they are 4 days old now i have a 400w metal halide set up but are unsure when to change over i also have a 400w hps which i will use for flower the growing temp is 76f any advice is welcome

wait tilll they look like good small plants and then put them under the mh. The floros are good for early veg if they are close enough.

i was thinking of letting the roots push through the seed bag then potting them into two 2gallon pots at that point give them the love of an mh lamp
i nearly lost one last night just before bed i checked on them and one had drooped her head down almost touching the soil i checked the moisture level and she was bone dry i had only flooded them 24hrs before so a quick dip in sterile water and this morning she was straight back up at the light

Now 13 days old, they are watered every 4th day, light is 18/6 i give them 5hrs a day under 400w mh and the rest of the day light is under the floresants so they wake up gently and go to bed gently im happy with growth level here they are to day :mrgreen:

I dont know if im hitting them a bit hard for their age with the mh temp is 78f with lamp on at plant level with lamp 12 inches from plant tops
but the smaller one curls 2 of its leaves up length ways you can see on pic2

18 days repotted the bigger of the 2 plants today, came out of the pot loverly soil just moist roots were all the way down to the drainage stones just had to tease them away roots looked pure white with loads of fine hairs all over them no pic sorry
did a mix with levingtons organic manure lev seed and cutting soil ,perlite, 6mm gravel drainage stones filled 1 inch with stones then mixed soils.
5 handfuls manure
5 hf s&c soil
2 hf perlite
2 hf gravel
gave it all a good mix & replanted gave it no water as moister level was fine on meter :blsmoke:

30 days from seed 1st is 12" the second 8" tall there on 18/6 400w mh full time grow temp 78f lights on & 74f light out watering every other day 600ml ph 6.5 tap water after being boiled and left to stand 2 days prior to watering

Nice dude. I use the 24w Blaze strip cfls and they rock for seedlings and vegging little plants

Whats happened, I find another grower using chempak ( I was using the chempak 4 but changed this grow to biobizz ) and theres no posts for a while ?????

Hi guys & girls sorry no up dates Iv been away on business (not prison lol ) my wife has had them under her wing so to say good news they are both GIRLS :mrgreen:

I was over the moon to see the pre flower when I got back they have been on 12/12 for the last 8 days I will feed them with cempak 4 now at 1/2 recommended strength they have been on chempak 2 at 1/4 every 3rd watering the first pic is of the youngest which I though might be a male as it grew a lot faster than the other plant second pic is of a clone i took before going away third pic is the older plant looking sad due to over watering fourth is pic of pre flower all pics taken today.

I never used the chempak 2 just the 4 and if it wasn't for me wanting to go the whole organic way, I would still be using it now.

On my last account I claimed 2 girls but "red face" :oops:

one is male still very happy with one girl :mrgreen:

The funny thing is the girl is the larger of the two plants I thought the male was the dominant one, the girl has always looked healthy & strong the boy has always struggled with my amateur grow, mainly; over watering & then under watering I think Iv got it now??? :lol:

Another thing I took one clone & that was from the girl before even knowing sex now that is JAM :!:

Here they are first pick is of the top most bud hairs starting to brown but not many, looking better now on full strength feed every 7 days & watered twice inbetween. second pick is the clone as you can see iv taken 4 cuttings which a friend wants to have 2 of them and put plant into 12/12
this plant has took off as for growth the first one never grew this fast cloning is far faster than going from seeds but it has grown differently the nodes are offset but if it gives nice bud i dont mind :weed:
