Ok, chill, take a (bong) hit, and let's take this from another angle, ok?

Instead of others trying to tell you how to do this, how about you tell us exactly what you're doing? Because, I'll tell you what it looks like to me, it looks like you're trying to use the bbcode links/tools in the message box array to attach images from your computer, and you can't do that, it won't work.

Do you know how to take a screenshot? If you can put up a screenshot then WE'LL know what you're looking at, that might help all of us. :) Here, I'll give you a screenshot of my desktop...

Hi Sea.. well thats a start.. I don't know how to screenshot..I did download photobucket so maybe I can enlarge them ??? (after I learn more) This is hard straight... I need to leave it alone and remove about 50 things stuck on my desktop.. If you upload from email or desktop, does the image disappear after 1 loading ?? my vast 7 months on comp. are lacking in knowledge and skill....
teaching myself by trial and LOTS OF ERROR..shit I almost deleted my internet ex...that was close.... Thank you Sea.....

Ok, it appears that you've sorted out how to get an attachment (the safest way to share pix on site, I think). Your issue may stem from WHERE you're pix are being saved TO, like the others were saying. I don't know where you're saving to, but I would think that with Win98, you should easily be able to select where they're being saved.

Another thing you can do is use the search for files/folders function, and then search, for instance, for .jpg files. Once it pulls them all up, double-clicking on the image should open it automatically.

I know I was pulling out my hair before I figured out how to srink my pics so I could get them uploaded to RIU. Plants look pretty good sized from what I can see. Catch you later.

Hey Twisty can't help with the weather, sorry. Is that a drum and symbol in that last pic? Are you in a band? And what kind of music do you play?

Photobucket has made it UBER easy to get pix uploaded from your machine onto PB, even in the Linux environment! (That's a big deal, believe me)
