Twilight, BlueCheese, Whiteberry, Northern Soul --Much Longer? (til flush??)

Wuddup guys, So im in Week 7 of my flower on 2 BlueCheese (Big Buddha), Whiteberry(Paradise), Northern Soul(Seedsman) n Twilight(Dutch Passion) . My question would be, how far away do you think my girls are from needing to flush out? I figure theyre about 2 weeks almost away from being done, trichs are 50clear/50cloudy. I used a 600w HPS for the majority of the flower, and then switched to a 1000w. Heres some pics to check out -- I know that a couple are closer to being finished than others, so im curious as to which ones need to be flushed, and how soon?

--Like i said, i know some of them are still 2-3 weeks from being completely ready, but i just got a feeling that at least two plants should probably be hit with clearex the next watering. right on. Thanks man. N the pistils on at least 3 of my plants are about 75% to 80% orange, or in some cases reddish (which leads me to believe that in the last week i might see some purple in my twilight), n this is why im wondering how much longer until the flush. I definitely wanna make sure i harvest in the proper window, cuz these bitches are POTENT, but i wanna make sure they reach their peak. From the day i flush ill be counting down 2 weeks precisely until i chop, all the while using clearex for a 2 step flush, and then from there on out it will be nothing but Distilled and Humboldts Gravity, with one or two more doses of whats left of my Humboldt's Purple Maxx, followed by one final Clearex flush 4 days before the chop, and one more pure distilled flush the night before.

I also heard that its better to let the plant go completely dry, and even start to die off right before harvest. Can somebody tell me the best road to go down during the week of harvest? do i water right before i leach out every last drop of salt that i can get out? or do i let them get bone dry to help along in the drying/curing process once chopped? either way, i think im gonna go with the general concensus on this one, as im new to harvesting straight up dank, and doing it properly (this is my 2nd grow, 1st grow with quality seeds) .

Heres another question i thought of.

I have two plants that each have two nice big sized colas, and all four colas are getting to the point where they look pretty damn close to done. If i wait another week, and then chop just those 4 colas, and then move the light way closer to the rest of the nugs, would that do my grow any good? would it give the rest of the buds a chance to fatten up nicely, or would i just be wasting my time, and should leave the 4 big colas on the plants and harvest all of them at the same time?

i wanna harvest when theyre ready, but i also wanna make sure i give them all a chance to swell up to their full potential. So some expert advice on this question would be awesome to have

question of my own : youre using a 1k hps in a residence, how do you mask the heat and power consumption? im thinking abut upgrading but not till im absolutely positive

Where did you find the twilight strain?? I really wanted to try to grow that strain, and Western Winds.

Oh well... but Nirvana-Shop doesnt have a lot of options.

Hey dude 1k light isn’t shit on your power bill, if the room is big enough heat isn’t an issue, but if small an intake, cool tube or covered hood and your good to go. Go to this link and read it all! This is definitely true ^^ i didnt do anything other than hook the lighting up in my cooltube reflector, n crank the dimmer knob i got hooked up to my blower as far as a heat signature or making shit more stealth, i had to make my own grow tent out of Panda Film and MYLAR --- the mylar reflects the light and the heat signature back inside of the tent. As long as everything is light tight, you wont have to worry about anything being stealth at all. Youll be covered

Go to the ATTITUDE to get your seed man. www.cannabis-seeds-bank.co.uk They have ALL of Dutch Passion's strains. The Twilight is a feminized strain from DP, and i do like it, but it was a pain in the ass to grow, and theres a SHITLOAD that id be doin differently right now if i had the beans to grow her out again. Her nugs are nice n greasy though. Potent too. Shell probably go purple during the last couple days, when i take my space heater out of the closet n let the temps go down by another 5 degrees at night when the lights go off.

But like i said, the trichs are still only about 50% clear 50% cloudy, and i wanna wait until i see amber before i flush, i was just wondering typically from the point where im at, how long it would be before i had to flush, so i could chop at the perfect time. Theyre starting to get that "almost done" look to them, so i know its close, and if i cant find an answer on here ill probably just end up flushing at the beginning of next week, and then count down 2 weeks from there. I just wanna also make sure im not jumping the gun too quickly, lol.

dude my tent is 2x4x5, lol. i didnt think in a million years that a tent that small would be able to handle a 1000w grow, but really all you need to do is keep the cooltube about 8-10 inches above the tops, and your sweet as long as your fan is strong enough to keep the bulb nice n cool

-Incidentally though, i will say that i learned that i had to keep the bulb a little farther away the hard way though, lol. Fuckin within a couple days of having the new light in there, the top on one of my BIG colas on my Twilight plant got all brnt n crispy -- no big deal, only about the top half inch of the cola, so i just plucked that fucker off n smoked it it wasnt black or anything like that, the leaves were yellow n dried out, and the bud itself was just completely dry. Smoked really well, n actually got me pretty stoned.

should i just buy the cooltube from htg? the thing i dont get about cool tubes is how to connect it to the ballast. to me it only looks like a 3 prong plug for a wall socket??????wtf im pretty confused at this one

Yeah I may do that for my other plants but I harvested all the big colas from my whiteberry plant last night. I checked on the trichs (which I checked 5 days ago n were only 20%amber) n they were about 80% amber, so I gave her the chop on all the larger colas. The rest of the buds were kinda small n fluffy, so I'm gonna keep them on the plant for another watering with a dose of gravity to hopefully dense them up a bit. Should do the trick, condlsidering the canopy was really, really thick before the chop n not much light has gotten through to anything underneath . Well see how it turns out

The rest of my ladies are following suit, beginning to amber up on me n lookin more n more finished by the day. I'll be posting pics as soon as I can get to a pc to post up some (I'm posting from my phone cuz my son spilled juice all over my laptop lol)

Harvest is an awesome, gratifying, fun experience man. I never thought I would feel this satisfied about my 2nd grow. Obviously there's always room for improvement, but I actually only had minor bullshit problems during this time around. For my 2nd grow, so far I couldn't be happier

K1Ng5p4d3...you have been busy! Wow they look good. Nicely done mate. Thank god you chopped that Whiteberry. It's only a 47 day flower. I think it would be a good idea to keep lighting the lower branches seems you harvested the canopy. Should help add to your overall harvest weight. Shoot me a PM about that Whiteberry. Extremely curious about that strain.

I was really surprised too that it took this long to finish man. But I had my tent jam packed with plants, so they were all fighting for their fair share of lumens lol. She was a total pleasure to grow, n u can ask anything u want bro .

Twilight finished today. I didn't do the same thing that I did with WB cuz I really didn't like how she turned out in the long run, so I cleared her out n made room for my other ladies to finish up. I ended up with something like 111 grams on just those two big top buds, n with all the rest, I should come off clean with 2Zs easy. She does look danky all trimmed up though I must say, but no comparison to the Whiteberry. Not even close lol.

Sorry about no pics right now- I have a few harvested pics of both plants on my camera, but I can't post them til I get in front of a pc. My 2 yr old ruined my laptop by pouring juice into the keyboard. I'll get them up early tomorrow though for everyone. Not many pics cuz I was trying to finish clipping before my hand cramped up, lol, but I got a few pics in
