As for milk, no I dont believe it should be regulated by the government.

I believe that there could be an independent laboratory like UL for electrical products that could sign off on the *safety* of the product like food. Large companies would keep many of the processes they have now as it is bad to poison your customers.

MILWAUKEE — Wisconsin health officials say 38 people associated with the Durand High School football team became sick in an outbreak caused by raw milk served at a potluck dinner in September.
Ten people who attended the pre-game potluck Sept. 18 became so ill that they required hospitalization, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported Sunday (http://bit.ly/1y8aih1 ). And the outbreak forced the cancellation of a Sept. 27 game because too many players were sick.
Tests confirmed that at least 26 of the illnesses were caused by Campylobacter jejuni, a harmful bacteria sometimes found in unpasteurized milk or uncooked meat and poultry, the Department of Health Services said.

illegal to sell would mean 1 regulation
Dont sell it.
MY goal is legislation that will make it legal to grow and possess. The illegal to sell part is to keep the goverment and big business out of it

That is nothing compared to the deaths caused by legal FDA approved substances (pain killers, tobacco, borderline suicidal fastfood). What is your point?

Why? Are you against regulations? Seems like your raw milk witch hunt shows that you are pro regulation? You are so inconsistent it is mind boggling. Why should marijuana be illegal to sell? Because you don't want big businesses monopolizing the market? But it is okay if they monopolize other markets because you don't care about them, you are such a hypocrite.

Is the kid going to read the label? I am responsible enough not to leave medication out where children can access it.

Requiring a label on pot food does nothing to promote safety.
