Turning Lights OFF

I have an automated bubble system and need to go out of town a few days. What effect will it have on my veg and flowering plants if I turn off the lights for one, two, three, four, five, six or seven days with the rest of the system running? If seems like they would just think it s nighttime, without realizing it's a long night?

My wife and I worry about burning down the house while were out of town, and other for reasons.

your new growth will become very light green and the stalks will really grow tall the gaps will be huge as i did this and no from experience 2 to 3 days would be fine but your veg. plants will start showing preflowers by themn any longer could cause a big stress or shock for them would not recomend it my friend

What if I changed from the HPS to a CFL for the time I'm gone? If so, I use a 400w, what might be a good size CFL to use?

i dont think cfl's go too high in watts, i think the most is like 150 to 200, so u'd need a couple

Just check your set up and make sure you got good timers
If you havent had and issues with your set up you should be fine!
Just raise the lights a few inches to compensate for there growth whilst
your away. As long as you have sound electrics and no dodgy wiring I cant
see you having a problem. everything electrical should be fused correctly and if
anything does go wrong im sure your fuse box would trip off before any serious damage
can be done.
