Lots of Rumors.
Facts as I know them:
Vendors had not been paid.
Packets to homeless never got sent.
Lots of pissed off members (I think I would b 2 of em)

heres the official statement.
TSD Community, We regret to inform you that TSD has shut down. As a security precaution, we have deleted all files from our databases, including the forum. No more data exits, therefore TSD no longer exists. Given current circumstances, we felt obligated to protect our members and partners and destroy TSD. All orders placed up until December 29th will be honored. For breeders and partners of TSD, please note that we are actively working on making arrangements to settle all outstanding matters. TSD asks for your patience, prudence and good judgment at this time. We apologize for any inconveniences caused, but this action was deemed necessary due to recent events. It is in the interest of everyone that TSD be shut down and deleted at this time. To all former TSD members, thank you very much for making this community the special place it was. It is the end of the road for TSD but not for cannabis growers, breeders and enthusiasts. idk any facts really besides what people are talking about on here. i can see how a quick pump and dump would be possible owning a seed bank. especially if you built up a reputation. if there ever was any kind of legal issues it would almost be too easy to make a quick $50k and bounce... idk thats just my observation. its a very scamable situation. I'm not saying thats whats happening... just saying it would be ez to do.
the whole "had to do it for your safety" thing is exactly what i would say too..... scare the victims into not trying to fight back....

Yeah, that's what I don't get either. .. don't get it wrong, I've never posted once on tsd in my life, but I've got eyes and ears and haven't heard of anyone getting busted as result of tsd, so all of this recent activity seems a bit sketchy at best, as far as an explanation as to why anyone would shut down a forum. If the cops or w/e were closing down what would that have to do with the.forum part of a seeedbank?
Idk, it just doesn't add up in my head.. just hope jb doesn't turn out to be another ripz, despite my personal feelings about him and his site, I still don't like hearing and seeing things like this going down in a community I take much pride in being a member of, the canna-munity, not tsd just for clarification..

Your name was being floated in a thread on ICmag (along with a few other mods) as being an associate of this JB character from TSD. Wtf? I've never posted on tsd once in my life. When they first opened I reposted wyteberrywidows claim that he didn't get his order..
Obviously jb saw my post here on riu and black listed me from tsd and would never activate my account there, which is mature of him.. of course when I asked him about it, he said be was clueless as to what I was talking about, but for w/e odd reason my account never got activated still.
I'd love to know how my name could even be somewhat associated with tsd being I'm not, nor was I ever a member there, and might have only read the forum under I'd say 5x's total.
But w/e, I surely don't have any guilt on my part and would love to see anyone show me a post of mine on any forum where I ever endorsed either tsd or that jb cat..
/ end of rant, but yeah, I've never been a member there , ever..

In that same thread "Skip" is saying that RIU has been hacked. I'd normally disregard this as weed-site drama, but he may be right. Anyone else noticing a redirect or weird message when you log in? I've also noticed that when I log in from my mobile phone it takes me to this weird site called "myfilestore.com". Wtf?
yep, looks like spam or malware at first, aka there is something on your computer and its a fixer, then if you go back and re hit the link on google, which is how I come in, you can get thru. when I clean my shit, I don't see anything to be alarmed about, and Im legal anyhow, but its odd everytime?. Theres always been a rumor bout the place and some cat named default, and shit bein diff ever since. Whatever you do, don't read bout the nsa and tao. But I do think Im outta here, I notice a delay when typing I don'th get other places. Currently not growing, so not contributing like I want, not worried, but it do make you wonder bout the bean selling sites with forums connected, aka gypsy nirvana.JMHO
