I am in the process of moving and just tore down and sold my old 35G Reef Tank. Everything but my T5HOs

This is the light I saved.

24" 2x24W Bulbs and Im going to be putting dual 6500Ks in them.

Would that be sufficient for veg of 1 or 2 plants? I know the quad bulb fixture would be so much better, but this rig does put out some par.

Like I said before, Im just trying to find a use for a light I already have

man that sounds like it will be enough for more than 2 plants.. depending on the size you want to achieve. if i were you i'd add some side lighting, perhaps a few CFL's or something, be creative :) maybe even just buy another one of those so you can adjust each one independently.

Good idea ! You can look up DIY cfl reflector u buy a 10" reflector put a y socket adapter in there so u can have 2 23w cfl in each clip reflector like 8-10 bucks for reflector maybe 8 bucks pack of 4 bulbs
