Trying to do too much

I like to help when I can but I wouldn't want to give you bad info. I always water to runoff. My 7 solo cups are up to half gallon a day.
That is funny I know a guy that was trying to give away some auto freebies from Seedsman, couldn't find anyone that wanted them. Too bad couldn't get them there somehow.
I really wanted to water more but it looked pretty nice when i got home and this morning so I fought the urge
Should be ready for another watering in a day since i didn't get any run off
I'm testing this water meter with a normal potted plant watering and drying it out and comparing what the meter says.
I need to get some Epson salt to do a foliarspray per some ad ice feom a thread about some yellowing I'm getting.

I untied one of the twist ties holding the stem together cause like an idiot I thought it might be good just 2 days after the injury.
As I was taking it off i saw the stem start to separate so tied it back up.

I took a few cuttings the other day just to try .
Their all 3 still alive
The one I put into the pellet is getting really yellow but the other2 are getting new leaves.
I dunno.
I hqve one under 2 cfl bulbs on a timer for 12\12 hoping to sex it if possible? At this point I couldn't really so much with a live clone so just want to mess around a bit

My temps haven't gone over 85 in 2 days
My rh is still a little high for flowering
Going to have to get a dehumidifier
Not finding many diy ways to fix this issue

When I go into flower im also gonna do one of those 2 liter co2 bottles
The home made version with yeast.

Watered last night half strength nutes
When I watered last i went from the top has no runoff.
For to thinking the bottom may be dry so I gave it its water like that
It slumped it up like a sponge.
Slowly feduntill
It stopped working up the liquid.

Its looking. Great today

Going to try this diy dehumidifier soon as i can.
Said a 5 gal bucket with holes and rocksalt inside or another 5 gal..
Apparently it drawsout moisture in the air? I dunno but will see .

Nothing new really
Retied the 4 main top colas canopy is evening out think the net shouldgoback on to start weaving
Going to switch to 12\12 on july first

Side note on my watering.
So I've been making my nute solution up and then putting an air stone in the jug to mix it up and maybe get some air into it?
Is this a waste of time?
Also do the nutesgo inside .y air stone? Is it now ruint?

If after the flip umm m a proud pappa of a female plant ill then take a few cuttings from her

On the topic of cuttings.
One that i took as an experiment last week is really yellowing. The one I put into the jiffy pellet. Then out the pellet into a solo cup.
Dont have a pic to upload of it right now
The cutting in the water bottle looks fine
Kind of wondering if i should give it some nutes
Going to look around the forums for a bitseeifi can track down some info

I was looking at these 3 clones I have as testers

#1
The clone in the water bottle has 3 little spiky hard roots
#2 went straight into jiffy pellets
When I took it out of the shell there were roots everywhere.
Just cut it dipped it in Walmart root hormone then put it into the moistened pellet and kept it in the window sill.
No dome no sprays just cut sip plant.
Even I can do this again lol
#3 I had a bubble boy bucket sitting around so i hooked it up qnd threw cutting number 3 into a pellet then sat the pellet in the hydroton
Got no clue what it's doing other than yellowing like these others.

I'm using the canna garden aqua veg nutes on the cuttings. Think I drowned #1 oops seriously was standing water I'm the cup i was squeezing out ugh.

How do i use a bubble bucket hydro system?
Do I just change the entire bucket of water once a week ?
Like do I make 3.5 gallons of nutes or just add my nutes then add water to fill line? Im lost

I've been trying but having problems finding a seed bank that I can order from with a prepaid card.
I want to run 5 auto flowers from seedsman but afraid to send cash overseas
Thanks for the suggestion tho bro
I agree 100%
I’m by no means experienced, however I did find a good seed bank that’s relatively cheap. If you look at “green point seeds”, they have reverse auctions and I got 10 purple badlands seeds for less than 40 with shipping.

Had the thirst again this morning.
Took a gallon and a half to get runoff.
Gave clean PhD tap water no nutes.

Noticed the hardest amount of burn on the tips of many of the leaves
Going to do just under full strength on the next nutes day
Which at this current rate will be tomorrow
These airpots dry much faster than I'm used to

Aww snap
Today's July first
Flipping my closet to 12/12
Throwing the other plants from seed into the closet to sex them as well
Was adding it up have
#1 bagseed from some fire outdoor KY skunk
#2 a stunted bagseed
#3 also a bagseed from something i labeled as holy shit this was lemon fire
#4 a bean a buddy claimed was fire

Figure out of all those I'll get at least one female
Hoping it's from the one I've been taking care of

Mailed off cash for some beans from
Single seed centre today
By the time I harvest this closet I hope to have these 3 beans
1 white widow
1 Zombie death fuck
1 girl scout cookies
All 3 feminised
So I'm going ro run the three strains
Clone them in the veg room ( hopefully i have it together by then)
Run 3 clones from each strain for 9 plants in. I'm thinking 2 or 3 gal pots? That would be enough since I'll not be vegging my first run of clones right?

Watered today
Plant #1 took 2 gallons of nutes
3 ml grow
2 ml bloom
2 ml tiger
Probably naming them wrong
Followed the feeding chart for week 1 of flower

All of them are looking good
Hoping to harvest a few oz before these beans get here

Temps at 79 for an hour and a half
Rh is 63%
Need a dehumidifier
So my temps during the actual day ( my night for the plant) are hotter than when my light is on
I'm gonna be running the fan and AC both 24\7 to see if i can get them down
Two things that are more on the advanced side, bu not too difficult to grasp after a little while: Vapor-pressure-deficit: https://hightimes.com/grow/understanding-vapor-pressure-deficit/

And what you mentioned actually has a name, the nights being warmer than the days or the days being warmer than the nights is called negative dif (differential), positive dif, or neutral if it's the same. Here's a link: https://www.maximumyield.com/definition/3142/daynight-differential-dif

Growers use both techniques to maximize yield and health. With the vapor-pressure deficit chart, a lot of growers will mimic the temperature and humidity that correspond to that temperature because it emulates the plant growing outside over changing seasons. This is called "riding the wave" in the growing community.

I watered my plants since the beginning with a gas siphon hose. I tap the siphon end to the bottom of a 5 gallon bucket, and use gravity to slowly saturate the entire area of soil.

I have found that your medium, FFOF in particular, will absorb more water that way. After the stretch, I take the same bucket and just dip a plastic cup in it and pour it into the medium. Reason being is, at this point, your plants will be drinking a lot more water anyway, so using a small gas siphon tubing to water every day and a half - 2 days, gets awfully time consuming.

Hope you found some of that useful. The washing machine hose is a fricken fantastic idea, by the way. I can't believe I didn't think of that, but that's why were all here, to learn :) It's easy to over-think your grow, be you a professional, newb, amateur, etc. Everyone does it.

Sure, an airstone can help dissolve additives like chlorine. It also oxygenates the water, and that's how hydroponics work. If the water wasnt oxygenated in hydroponics, it would be no different than depriving your plant of oxygen the same way that over-watering does.

Also, an airstone runs at a positive pressure, meaning it's blowing air out, not sucking anything in. You shouldn't have any issues at all with your nutes and an airstone. I would personally run the airstone in plain water for a while as opposed to adding the nutes in and letting it bubble. Add the nutes right before you water.

I don't suggest taking cuttings from a flipped plant. Those cuttings will have to revert back to the veg, which can cause a lot of stress, and should be reserved for advanced growers, Unless you want to put those cuttings directly into 12/12. Even then, it's more sensible to just let them finish the 12/12 they're already in.

As far as your cutting yellowing goes, I haven't seen you mention pH any. If you ever think you have a nutrient problem, always first determine pH. That's the problem most of the time, and if you don't establish that and give it unneeded nutes, you're just causing more problems for yourself and the plant down the line.

Awesome thanks for the info
For real
I pH my water after adding nutes keep it at 6.3-6.5
Well..... That's kind of a low cause I was in a rush last night limited time to work in the garden and had the in laws over.
So i forgot to pH my water THIS 1 time. Sucks cause it took 2 gallons of nutes
BUT it took em at a pH of about 7
So I probably just wasted half my nutes as they won't be absorbed as well.

As far as the clones from flower
I'm kinda acting like i know less than I do because it's been 10 years since I've grown.

I the past I only took cuttings after the flip
After the clones reveg you have explosive growth and the monster clones were always bigger and more robust than their veg cut counterparts.

I had a 6 plant perpetual harvest going for my patients in Michigan harvesting 3 plants every two weeks.
But like I said that was ten years ago

I wasn't prepared for the new learning curve lol
Led was a new thing g then
I just know I'm gonna remake ALOT of noob mistakes again
Even when I WAS growing full time I still had lots of issues
Hoping to get my learning done on these bagseed
Then use what I've learned to make the real beans produce

Yeah, I've grown before too, outdoors, it was just so long ago I don't really count it. I was a kid then (16). The days....I remember riding my bike 7 miles to Lowes one way, putting a bag of soil on my bike seat, and riding my bike another 7 miles up and down hill on crazy busy roads to drop it at my two grow spots near my house. I'd go back later at night to carry everything to my grow location. I also grew under my parents house and the next door neighbor was a K9 handler lol.

Yeah I understand monster cropping, I've just spoken to a lot of folks on here who didn't know taking a clone in flower is much different than veg, so I didn't want to risk it and assume you knew what you were doing :)

Lol same bro same.
All my experience was from outdoors
Then i had a 2 year stint indoors
All that was 20 and 10 years ago lol
Im still learning those posts you linked were solo helpful bro thanks!

So today I was just looking at theclone that had no Right to stilk be alive.
I cut it dipped it put it in a peat pellet Then put it into my bubble boy. Left it pit 2 little 23 watt cfl bulbs on a 12 12 timer just for shots n giggles.
Well shot it grew roots....
Giggle it sexed and it has pistols....

So redid my other room its now got the 400 watt with no exhaust( egad man!)
The new veg room has 4 clones in itfrom the one plant I've just been messing with

Going to take a few more cuttings tonight and see how that goes
Ideally want as many rooted and going in these Polaroid cups as i can going to just flower them in them
As im waiting on the Doin to be new motherplants.

So currently have 4 in flower ( 1 of which I know is female)

4 in veg 3 in dirt1 in dwc
Gave the dwc bucket3 gallonswortbof the aqua canna veg nutes at seedling strength.
Hotrod I really needyourhelp on that bro im so lost i didnt tho k it wouldn't I e much less get roots
So since I hqve 3 buckets
I poured in 3 gallons of water
Then in a jug made another gallon with 3 gallons worth of seedling stage nutes ( was very close to the next phase recomendeddosage)
I then added my nute mixture to the 3.5 gal and added q little more clean water to too it aoff with.
Ph in the bucket is 5.8

I made this veg room in like an hour to try to accommodate today's discovery
Its hot and humid like a jungle just cause.
There's no good reason for it to be like that unless its the evaporation of the bubble bucket combined with the lack of ventilation or air movement

I out my wife's box fan in there
She's gonnq be pissed and want it back so gotta get another fan for that room
Also need 5- 7 feet of ducting to be able to hook my carbon filter up in the flower room.
I think this will also help with my rh and temps.
As it is now the light is pulling air in thru the hood venting it into the fan up into the attic.
But its pulling the air from the middle of the closet rather than the top.
I think once the filter is pulling in the air from the ceiling ( where its mounted)
Will help as the hot air up top will be sucked IN pulling the cooler a.c. fed air from the bottom up thru the room
Lowering the overall temp by a few degrees
Making the air slightly cooler so able to hold less moisture?
Is this correct?
