Trying to clone a broken branch in third week of flower! anyone tried this?

so my shitty little clip on fan inside my tent fell and broke a giant branch off of one of my bubba kush plants. thye are in their 3rd week of flowering i was going to dry it but i figured hell why not do a lil experiment. so i did the normal cloning procedure as quick as possible to see if i could try to get it to grow roots and keep growing

has anyone ever tried this with success? should i keep it on its regular night cycle or should i put it under a light right away? cuz its in its night cycle right now. ill let you know how it does

I would do the same except maybe throw it on a 18/6 cycle and try to get it to root. maybe even back to 24 hours for a couple weeks. Let us know how it works out.

I just did the same thing about 2 weeks ago. Broke a branch off 3 weeks in and it rooted in 10 days under 18/6. The clone looks great! See story and pics, link below.

so heres a few pics of what it looks like now. its wilting a bit but hanging in there i think. i threw it back into the veg room also. its got a pretty nice little nug on the top!

it was a pretty good size branch too. came off the bottom tho. so i guess it was an accidental lollipopping.

good to hear other people have tried this and succeeded! i can't seem to move my plants or get in the 4x4 space without breaking something off them lol

They will do fine if you treat them like your other clones. heres a pix of a 2 week clone that I took after almost 2 weeks in flowering. it takes a while to revert back to veg. You can still see the flowers at the top of mine, although they are bout half the size now that they were.
