Trying this grow stuff out

I'm a recent college grad from Cincinnati and thought hey lets throw some shit together and try this indoor growing out. Well any growing at all. Ive combed all the different forums and think i have a really good idea of how to get started. I'm testing my setup with some not so amazing seeds but want to make sure my setup works before i buy some fancy stuff. After 6 days i already have some new leaf growth and am very psyched for my first time.

What was your major?

Welcome to the suck! Be prepared to have your time consumed, get stressed the fuck out, pissed off, etc... But also be filled with happiness when things go right, filled with free smoke, and hopefully fill your wallet with money. lol

Do you have a cpu power supply powering fans?? I would get rid of that because itll just suck up extra power and create heat.

Just pick up a single 4 inch duct booster fan. Theyre around 10-20 bucks and theyll move way more air than a few computer fans.

Other than that the cfls are lookin pretty good. Id get a some boxes to stack the pots on since it looks like the cfls are fixed.

What kind of nutes are you running??

I got my associates in network administration and my bachelors is in business technical applied science.

Yes I'm very excited but also knowing theirs months of waiting is stressful but looking at them everyday and seeing there progress well i wouldn't change that for the world.

Yes the power supply is plugged into an old mother board running my fans and so far i have not had any heat issues i didn't think about the extra power though that is a great point. Also i love your box idea its so simple but that would have never come to me. I know from reading most people move the lights but i just bought some ceramic light fixtures and put in dbl plugs for 2 lights. On the cheap .

Finally im not running an nutes right now just water, air, 24 hour light i didn't think nutes were important until after a week or two which is very soon for me. And i don't know what i will get ill just go to the home depot and get something, this is more of an experiment to see if the box works not to worried about yields yet. Theses are also some seeds i got out of bags or some mid's to Mexican dirt weed when I'm sure i can get through seedling to flowering im gonna splurge on some white widow seeds and nutrients and the whole shabang.

Nice! sounds like a plan. haha You can also use a simple dc converter cord like the ones plugged into most electronics.
