I took the summer off from growing and just getting back started. Got 9 clones and theyve been in the hydroton under lights for 15 days now. I topped all of them just before this picture and all have had the lowest few branches pruned. I'll try and give updates along the way....2018-09-17 14.48.30.jpg

Here are a couple more pictures to show the progress of the first 30 days. September 2nd rooted clones went into buckets. 1st picture shows day 15, 2nd picture shows day 22, and 3rd picture was taken yesterday at day 30. I flushed all the girls and changed over to flower mode last night. 2018-09-17 14.48.30.jpg 2018-09-24 12.59.16.jpg 2018-10-01 22.10.30.jpg

Today is day 10 since I flipped to 12/12 and flower nutes. My goal was to top and defoliate to try and create approx. 5×4 area of nice tops. I have 2 600W HPS that provide a great footprint of light for that size garden. So far the area is filling in nicely and plants are all about the same height making light adjustment pretty easy for now. Here are a couple shots from today....2018-10-10 15.34.15.jpg 2018-10-10 15.32.12.jpg

I'm feeding the entire Remo series... (micro, bloom, astro, kelp, candy, and magnical). Right now I'm feeding 7ml/gallon concentration and it's about 1100ppm tds. I'm using ro water that has basically 0ppm. I also use hydroguard and slf100 to help root zone and keep keep salt buildup under control. My biggest challenge has been pH control. For whatever reason I have to mix at about a 5.0 to end up with about 5.8 once it's in the systems. The buckets are not homemade they are gen hydro eco power grower units...Could easily be made though.

Today is day 33 flower....it has been a pretty easy go if it this run. I will say the product slf100 has been an unbelievable addition. I have absolutely none of the chloride issues or residue I've dealt with clogging lines in the past. Amazing. 2018-11-03 08.15.04.jpg

Day 38 flower. Here are a couple closeups. Buds are packing on weight nicely and trichomes are beginning to pile up. 2018-11-07 15.56.25.jpg 2018-11-07 15.55.00.jpg

slf100?

More info please.
In the grow buckets I use they have a drip ring system. The air lines run into the grow buckets and push nutrients up to drip rings and provide o2 to the resevoir. In the past I would get white salty deposits all over the drip rings and it would plug up the air lines where it met the nutrients. I started using a supplement called slf100 that is for breaking down salts and helping with nutrient uptake. It has been a win/win. The plants seem to be thriving with the help in salt breakdown....but it has 100% eliminated all of my plugged air line and drip ring issues. No deposits at all anymore. It has made my system maintenance time minimal compared to past grows.
