I live 50 minutes from Chicago and hear about murder daily, anyone who believes illegals are a major threat to the average person is clueless.

Drugs and money is what fuels murder where I live and most drugs are imported through the ports of entry inside gass tanks, semi trailers, or underground tunnels. Illegals do not carry tons of drugs on foot, the bulk goes right through the ports of entry.

Were better off improving our ports of entry than building a wall. Fentanyl laced heroin is far more a threat than undocumented immigrants where I live. I would also argue legalization and regulating drugs would solve many of those problems.

Is the emergency almost over? Is it safe to come out yet?
