Trump bails out farmers on the American Taxpayer's dime

Shithead wants an additional $15 billion in U.S. subsidies in an effort to protect farmers from the devastating impact of his trade war with China. That’s on top of $12 billion already earmarked for the farmers to help them weather the fallout of this disaster.

That would be an additional bill for U.S. taxpayers already shouldering the cost of increased tariffs in the form of higher costs for products and parts from China, and you can bet your ass it's going to get worse.

Trump revealed the subsidy figure in a tweet Friday. He suggested the government use the funds to buy agricultural products to ship to other nations for humanitarian aid (LOL), though setting up such a system would be extremely complicated. In his most recent budget proposal, the moron proposed eliminating three food aid programs, but I guess he forgot about that part.

The Liar-in-Chief appeared to dismiss the impact of the cost as he falsely claimed — again — that “massive” tariff payments are being paid by China “directly” to the U.S. Treasury, which would presumably be used to cover the cost of the subsidy. There is “absolutely no need to rush” to negotiate a deal with China, he tweeted.

In fact, the tariffs are paid by U.S. importers, who pass on the extra costs to the American consumer in the form of higher prices for products, a fact White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow admitted yesterday (he should tell his boss)

Economists have estimated that the trade war is costing the U.S. more than $3 billion a month, a number that now will increase dramatically with the imposition of the new tariffs announced on Friday.

Gotta keep those Trump supporting nitwit farmers happy, right?

Fuck the rest of the country.

Oh, listen to this Trump supporter cry now that he's finally figuring out he's fucked :)

Isn't it interesting that so many are rightfully against farm subsidies but then are fine with other forms of forcible redistribution from the same government?

Seems inconsistent.

When the Chinese start dumping US treasury stuff and fuck the US dollar, we'll all be eating roadkill. Yum.

Im all for bailing out the farmers. Im not for the nullshit around it.

He should just come out and say he fucked up bigly and is doing what he can for now. Instead of blaming everyone else.

Sad.

Fuck the farmers eh? Do any of you actually listen to the ag news? The bastards all went for him. Then they decided to hang with him because “he’s right about China”. I listen every morning to the ag reports. Most of the idiots are still with him while simultaneously praying this ends. They’re too stupid to care about.

couldn't believe what i was hearing either from most of farmers being interviewed over the weekend, most were Ok with trump sodomizing them "for the good of the country"...
Subsidies for farmers to not grow takes weather concern out of the equation Win/win for the right wing

I hear you. They gave him a standing ovation in New Orleans at a huge ag conference. Screw the farmers. If they ever have a change of heart then maybe some sympathy. But no money no matter. Trump starts a fight while being cheered on by farmer allies. Then when they get their asses kicked they want bystanders, most of whom were against said fight, to cover their losses.

He still hasn’t gone to Iowa or Nebraska to see the effects of the flooding he never even flew over. They think he cares?

There are literally zero programs to pay farmers for stored commodities that were ruined by water. Billions lost with no insurance and no subsidy programs. Stored because of TRUMP and his trade wars including with Mexico and Canada.

Watch for Congress to work on a payment program of some sort. After the fact.
