Triquad mutant : AK-48

I noticed one of my AK-48's looked a bit odd, and then I realized it seemed to have three fan leaves at each node... then I looked closer and realized there were four fan leaves + branches at one particular set...



Sex has yet to be determined, but I think I'll grow it out to maturity either way. I don't know if each set will continue to have at least three or what. Also interested in what would happen if I were to top it.

I know this isn't that uncommon. Any ideas as to how topping might affect it?

Won't change topping it at all like u said not that uncommon did u get that from nirvana if so I got that same strain from them dank ass smoke pretty good producer to I think mine may have done that can't remember

It is from Nirvana, yah. Thinking it's female. There are three of them and the other two are a bit stretchier.

I finished an AK-48 last month, it did alright but I am hoping this one will do better. The Mandala strains are still kicking ass though, already able to take cuttings from the Kalichakra's.

I crossed my ak-48 and white widow from nirvana that's the bomb great producer and pretty good smoke the last one I grow on hydro I got 4 and a quarter ounces off one plant
