Trimming While Flowering

This is Dela Haze. 3.5 weeks into flower. 80 degree room with 45% humidity.

Some say never to trim in flower.

What do you think?
Should I trim something?
Not trim something?
Know that this should be cut in veg next time?

Feel free to comment on anything you see in the video. I'm still learning.

There are popcorn buds and some other small growth under the canopy. My local grow shop guy said the top buds benefit can benefit more from removing smaller buds.

I just realized that I wrote Dela Haze and said Pineapple Skunk in the video. The video is PSK.

Here's a pic of DLH in my room and one of the last nugs I have left. All the good looking nugs have Gone to patients.

Get rid of the scraggly stuff. Just don't prune more than 20% of the plant and you won't see any I'll effects. If you over prune in flower it can cut your yield immensely.

You can trim and still get some benefit. It's best to do it within the first week of flowering in my opinion.

Sometimes the stretch will screw you up in places you don't want but you can combat that with a mild LST.

I just took a bunch of lower leafs off a few plants it was getting no light waste it will be airy anyways and another plant I remove about 50% leaves to test it out it

Does anybody here EVER cut off a bud in flowering?
I cut lowers all the time. If it looks undeveloped and not getting much light its better to cut it off so the energy can be spent in places that can really use it. Like the tops or mids of your plants. You just have to cut wisely.

I have to say your wrong, I'm testing up to 50% of the leafs that are shaded or no light reaching them remove that shit at the bottom it won't grow shit anyways it will thrive the top trust me, I used to think people were idiots not now.. remove as much as you can no more then 50% ever.

Thank you.
Have you ever cut the bud and decided that the whole stem was worthless and never should have been left to live? What then? Just cut the whole thing off?

I believe on trimming if you have to many leaves blocking bud sites. Tried the whole leave them alone/dont cut them off...it just gave me way less yield than when I did trim back.

This debate rages on here I think every two weeks haha

I do it with my tomatoes and they seem to love it too

Wait!?! I may have misread.
Cut "lowers" as in leaves? Or "flowers" as in what I'm asking about.

I already cut leaves if they aren't helping the plant.

If you took 50% of the bottom fan leaves that really wouldn't equal 20% of total foliage. Once you get into pruning over 30% of a plant you risk putting it in a state of stasis. That's why I recommend no more than 20% of the whole plant in flower. It is a safe start for someone not used to chopping at plants.

If you have little scraggly buds down low that are way behind the tops just cut em and clean it up.
