Trimming up Sativa today!

Panama Haze from Ace Seed. This is about as pure a sativa as I’ve ever grown. Buds are loose with delicate haze foxtailing. Remember when all weed looked like this? Not a lot of bag appeal unless you know what you’re looking at.

How long did that take? I've grown the Old Timers Haze a couple of times and their Panama. Both are great. I'm a big fan of ACE genetics. That's a cross of their Green Old Timers Haze aka Green Haze and Panama.

As for bag appeal, who cares? Everyone has pretty weed but very few these days will have the opportunity to smoke a treasure like you have unless they invest the time to grow it themselves. Enjoy. :weed:

Looks tasty. Is it grown inside? Just wondering, is that the natural characteristics of the strain or the way it’s grown? Can straight Sativa have dense buds?
Indoors yes. 16 weeks in flower. The density is going to come from some indica mixed in. I knew this plant was going to be special from the start. Narrower than pencil leaflets and super stretchy 8-10 inches between the nodes. Super cropping is your friend! I grew wild Thai and Killer A5 Haze which both had indica like buds but a good sativa high.

Hi xtsho! 16 weeks. I never thought it would end. At 13 weeks I thought I was done then she had another flush of pistals. I am a big fan of Ace too.

Yeah they keep going like the Energizer Bunny.

Get yourself some good rolling papers and savor a nice big joint of that treasure. Smoke one for me while you're at it.

So what are you running next? Looking at that has me thinking of doing some Old Timers Haze 12/12 from seed. I'm all out. At least I have some ACE Golden Tiger left but that can be a little much at times. Especially the Malawi pheno.

You can't go wrong with ACE.

It looks like you still pulled it a bit early.

I like the picture with the paper bag. It looks like a throwback ad that would say something like, "fresh, hand selected ingredients."

Will do brother! I’ll probably run Malawi from Ace ( first time with that) Kali Mist from Serious Seeds (absolutely love it) and I promised someone to run Platium Girl Scout Cookies again from Lineage Genetics. But all that has to what till I get back home in the spring. Off to HI from the winter. Hoping to find some interesting seeds while I’m there.

I've yet to grow the Malawi but I have a pack waiting. They have a warning on their website.

Nice! Love to see people growing the long flowering strains, and Panama is one of Ace's best, this is going to be good stuff. My next Ace grow is going to be the Killer A5 haze, can't wait.

The Killer A5 Haze is great. Dubi the breeder from Ace started a forum on IC Mag dealing with Killer A5 Haze. Really great!

Reading through the forum again I may just have to run those again.
Both of mine came out of the soil with an attitude, like “this is my house (tent) now!” Super super agressive but a little sensitive to fertilizer especially N so keep it moderate to less. I’d go 12/12 from seed and be prepared to super crop. The colas get huge so watch your RH.

It can be hard to grow these kinds of strains indoors. The payoff is worth the effort though. Now I'm thinking of doing some Old Timers 12/12 from seed. Last time was a seed run so I've got the genetics. Trained along the back of the tent I could get a harvest this spring.

Wow those are huge colas.

i just got a couple pistils showing on a Laos landrace, can’t wait to try real Sativa.

little worried about the stretch though, I’ve already been super cropping a ton.

how sensitive to N were they? I was feeding the same light mix my autos like and still got some clawing happening.

also what’s it smell like?? Looks like it smells amazing.
