Ok, so I'v got a little question for the more expierienced green thumbs out there. I have been taking care of 2 peri plants, they are about 5-6 week old Kush clones, and I'v got them in the perfect sunlight, it beams down directly about 1-1half hours into the daylight. Its been a week sense they'v been outside and they seem to be doing marvalous . Iv already started using the bending technique on 3 main nodes, but however there are still quite a few fan leaves blocking the sunlight from the lower, smaller, nodes that are developing at the bottom of the plants stalk. they are coming in nicley forsure, nice and slow though. I was wondering what the limit is to triming off fan leaves and when should a feller draw the line. How crushal to the plants healthyness are the fan leaves? If ya could lend me a helpin hand it would be appritiated :D thanks ya'll and keeper green

Dont trim the fan leaves, they contain stored carbohydrates which feed the buds. If you chop them your buds will get more light but less readily available food. THey are the engine room of the growing process.:joint:

Agreed. You can trim sick/hella eaten fan leaves, but leave the nice healthy ones alone. You can pin them to the stalk to get them out of the way. Or, I've recently found this works, you can interlock the fingers from other fan leaves together.
