Trim Questions- Bubble Hash

So im almost done with my grow, plan on chopping this Wednesday. Im going to make bubble hash with all the trim and popcorn buds, I know the trim needs to be thrown in the freezer before for a couple days, ive heard people say dry out your trim and grind it up before making bubble, ive heard people say grind it up but dont try it out, and ive heard dont grind it up just throw it in as it is.

How should i do it?

Sorry, i meant, should i dry the trim out? Or should i leave it moist? Should i grind it? Should i leave it in leaf form?

well when i do it i dont dry leaves out i put the wet leaf in a bag then in the freezer.. and i wouldnt grind it up because when you do that you are grinding up green matter witch is what you want to extract from... but this is me others always have there own ideas but hope this helps..

Although not professional advice, i believe i got it from a professional. I would only use the sugar leaves, directly fom the bud trimmings, no fans or stems. Dry them a couple days, however not to the point that they crumble to dust. The reason you want them dry is because the chlorophyll, what makes a plant look and taste green, dissipates and doesn't end up in your bubble. Thn you want to freeze them for couple days, make sure you actually feeze them. The reason you want to freeze them is because te crystals, or tichomes, will become brittle and break off easier. do not grind them o you will break up leaf matter and break you crystals in half and not as a whole.

Okay thanks for the advice and i def planned to really freeze them, my trim at this point is a good wetness, not as wet as when i cut it but not crumbly dry. I def know not to use fan leaves or stems!

for best results, you should dry and cure your trim and popcorn buds before making hash. when ready to make hash, freeze overnight and grind prior to mixing with ice/water whatever.

do NOT grind your trim when making bubble hash.

the way i do it is..collect all leaf tips after you trim the buds.. bin stems fan leaves etc .. put into a plastic carrier bag put them into a freezer for a few days as said by sj this will make the trics snap off when in the ice ,water etc ..put half of your leaf tips in the 1st stage bubble bag with ice on top (bucket, ice colder the better)and use a hand blender/mixer use the 1st stage bag give it a good mixing for about 10 mins let it settle for a bit then 10 mins mixing and continue this process for about 1-2 hrs the snapped off trics will fall through the bag to the bottom of your bucket remove bag and put wet leaves to 1 side then do same with other half after you have ...now get another bucket (empty)and put the 2nd or 3rd stage bag in the bucket then pour into the empty bucket through the bag the water will then fill the bucket and the bag will then filter the water and leave you with lots of goo...mmmm.. scrape it up and dry it out by squeezing through ya fingers ...grab a bong and puff that hash ...after you have done it twice put all leaves in and go again just so you extract all its sweet pleasure

I dry until everything is crispy, then I put it in the freezer for a day or so. I break the trim/popcorn buds up with my hands slightly as I am filling the work bag. I mix the trim, ice, and water vigorously with a large wooden spoon for 15 min. I get 100% blonde bubble hash every time...I have done it without breaking it up before hand and I definitely don't get as much. Good luck to you and happy smoking...
