Trim fan leaves ?

I left a pic on my journal this morning, but it doesn't do the girl justice, leaves are almost the size of my hands. I have to move the hood of aerogarden up every day, and the bottom growth gets lesser light. I have the led panel light with some foil opposite it, when chamber closed. I thought that trimming caused the plant "recovering" time and don't want to slow it down. Last grow I trimmed down slightly, but also had it in sunlight when it was available. That's not option now since this time I'm in Aerogarden and in a "box", can't move it. Should I, or not?
Also, these are the widest leaves I have ever had on a plant.

Leaves are good. Plants need leaves; and those big ones are the best photosynthesizers. You could top the plant, or get some side lighting such as higher wattage CFL's for the bottom\lower growth.

Nonsense....to remove a few leaves blocking light is all good...of course he's not saying strip it...but like he said to trim some...won't hurt the plant at all.....

I have 40 in a 5x5x7 tent and trim leaves every grow and NEVER had a plant suffer....how do I know...because the ones i trim are harvested at the same time the ones I didn't have to trim....no loss in yield.....

Cool beans then. Maybe if I just remove a few from the bottom nodes, and place the other led panel on opposing side. The wide leaves do photosynthesize. This may make the smaller leaves get bigger too. I'll try that with some foil around the bottom. The hairs are appearing just around the top where the most light is. I don't want to bush it out too much though, no room, sucks. I'm gonna post some more pics on the journal, and here too in another week to keep it updated. Thanks for the input, I love this place!
