trim fan leaves a week or two be for harvets

what up guys just wanted to know if its a good idea to trim the fan leaves a week or so before harvest? to let the lower buds get light..tanks for your in help

i wouldnt....its still using them...

1 week, the lower buds will see no benefit from one week of no fan leaves.

In my mind, an unscientific one, the easest way to look at it is this, if you remove the fan leaves to aid the bottom buds, you're simply harming the top ones to aid the lower. Swings and roundabouts, might as well just let the top ones grow to their potential instead of compromising them for a half arsed set of lower buds. And personally, plants don't shed their leaves in their last weeks to aid the lower so why fukc with nature

Or you could tie your buds to allow light to penetrate better, then harvest the top buds and let the bottoms grow for two more weeks.
This is assuming you have enough lower growth to make it worth doing.
