be sure to report back
Hi, look I know this will cause arguments but I've been growing the stuff since the late 1960's and my advice i to forget the tandy microscope and those little trics.
Harvest when the pistils are half brown.
I've left plants "ripening" for months and those trics can still be white and never change even after the plant has died!!

Sure they "may" go the colours and transparencies mentioned but a lot of the time you'll end up with a high similar to a can of meths instead of a rich red wine.
Sure the metholated spirits will get give you a "stronger" effect but you'll miss out on the "spiritual high" and end up like an old alchoholic sitting in the gutter.
But if that's what you want ???

Harvest with care..:)

I like your post.. I don't own a scope and won't be getting one.. I just wanted to know if anyone has checked them after curing since everyone checks at harvest time...
