tricky question about light proofing

is there a filter or something that you can put in fromnt of a passive intake hole to stop light leakage but allow air to continue to pass?

you could use a exhaust vent , here is a quick example. http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc...splay?langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053
they're not the greatest, what i do is just use some flexible ducting and run a small elongated (for better air flow) 90 degree bend, unless its pointing straight up light isn't going to make it through.

yeah, gotta cover up the light leaks one way or another. green light is "visible" to plants as well, just to debunk that myth right now

you could just put a box in front of the hole and cut a hole in the side/top to let the air in and block the light, ghetto fab style

need a bend in the path of the air, preferable painted black so it doesn't reflect much around the corner.
