Hey

Do trichromes go through colour stages or do they go from see thru to amber?

Just been checking using a microscope and wondering if there is a process to it.

cheers

not no pro so anyone feel free to jump in far as i know they go from clear to a milky colour then to amber

usually they go from clear to cloudy to amber.
ive read that there are some strains that are different though.

Most varieties will go clear > cloudy > cloudy amber > cloudy dark brown

A few varieties (usually pure and very dominant Sativas) will go clear > clear yellow > clear amber > cloudy dark brown.

The cloudy dark brown in both versions is the decomposition of THC into CBN.

awesome thanks for that!

Also, does anyone know why some strands of plant dont have there hairs go brown? I know of someone who when the trichromes were amber, the hairs were fluffy white and even when he left the bottom portion colas to seed, they stayed white!?

Great post, Mogie! I am adding to your Rep!
I have studied my trichs everyday for two weeks.
They started out ALL clear, the spear ones and the tall domed ones. Then some went to cloudy, like the color of sperm, or semen. And then some went to the color of Miller Lite and Amber Light beer. Some are clear or amber colored but a few have something dark brown growing inside of them. I had ALL cloudy and clear and overnight, I started getting amber colored ones.

could any one imagine a ganja plant that never stoped growing and flowering and maturing even past the dead of winter
