i read yesterday that there is no point looking at the pistils to see when to harvest. but to look at the trichromes, i was wandering, does anyone know what the trichromes are meant to look like before you harvest the plant?? i have about one ounce on my plant at the moment, and have been flowering for 5 weeks. can i harvest now seeing as the buds are very sticky and the crystals/trichromes are literally forming like ice all over the leaves and buds, with little balls on the top of them. hence my ice plant looking like it was grown in the arctic or something, the buds dont smell like skunk yet either except from a distance, will they smell when they are harvested?
