I think they must be something else, but look at them under magnification.

What strain do you have, and under what light régime do you have it?

You may have an accidentel auto-flowering problem, where your seedling will start to produce resin, since it isn't capable of to absorb enough light, or that you aren't giving it enough exposure.

That, or...

You're just imagining things, and/or that's just a little dust/perlite/mildew that's accumulating because of how you water your plants.

lol, it makes absolutely no sense for there to be any trichomes on the seedling...nature wouldn't even favor that mutation -- whatever it is, it isn't a trichome :(

sounds like hairs to me. small "fuzzy" hairs will grow on all the leaves and stems

id say tiny little hairs, not pistils but actual hairs but you got to have some good eyes to see that shit. Not Trichomes :leaf:

well as you may know trichomes exist over the entire plant, besides the roots, but just because they are there doesn't mean they have resin or thc in them, resin dosen't fill the trichomes until the flowering stages this is the attraction for pollinating insects the aroma is beautiful isn't it?

What are trichomes for???? You should go re-read whatever thread you got that off of and double check it. Trichomes are present to protect the plant from UVB rays of the sun. You are absolutely right about nothing happen with them until flowering (as far as THC production).

A direct correlation exists between THC producing Trichomes and the UVB rays in respective areas... hence equatorial grows have always been know to produce higher THC plants.. afgan, Mexico, Brazil...By adding UVB some growers report seeing increased trichome production in flower.
On a cellular level the trichomes actually produce THC as a natural defence to UVB which kills plants.

And yes you can have trichomes on Veg plants.. I have some sparklies on my 1 month old Cali orange right now, it's resin glands.. it's a good thing from what I understand as it's just developing them without "NEEDING" them right now.
