I have 5 plants at 8 weeks flower. 4 are indica and are almost ready - the trichomes are nearly all milky. The other one is sativa and although it is well into flower there seems to be very few trichomes compared to the indica. Is this normal and will the trichs develope?

Indicas are always richer in Trichs than sativas. Indicas mature faster too. Its completely normal.
Imo, wait till 40-50% of the trichs are amber... then harvest. And u shd be flushing the plant for another 1-2week.

Pics wud really help, i wud love to see some frosty-ass plants :p
