Trees per 1000W

I want to grow "trees", not plants ;) My question is however, how many trees per 1000W so that everyone gets the light they need without crowding?

Unfortunately my experience is limited to plants around 3 feet. Not looking to debate the semantics of lots of shorter plants vs trees, just looking for an answer. :)

THANKS!

If you LST them into a shrub shape and the veg em for a few months you could put maybe 1 or 2 per 1000k watt how big were you think like 8+ feet? although you wont get the results you see in outdoor grows unless you have a lot of room

I'd have a ceiling of a little under 9 feet. I'd have plenty of space (width) but I want to stay under the 99 Federal "limit" so I want to make up for lack of plants by compensating with size.

well you could just lst the whole room with 2 foot plants and make a canopy instead of a tree, then you could just hang your lights accordingly you could take 10 feet worth of height and pretty much turn it sideways and have 10 feet worth of length not to mention you'll make way more bud sites growing with lst than with a shrub lol

Im pretty sure there are counties in Cali that have up to 99 plants without conviction.. Also thas what co-ops do they take the plants that the patients are legally able to grow.. Maybe say 5 or 6 and put them with other patients plants up to 99 plants in a garden. Not sure what the limitations are to vegging and flowering plants are.

haha thats the way it works bro.. all the good shit happens when you leave hah. Good luck with your grow pm me if/when you get some pics up id love to see how you worked the tress...

if you are limited the 3 feet tall, i would go with a 600 over a 1k.

I read that wrong. Sorry. To answer your question if you are growing monsters maybe 4 to 6 plants.

100 hps watts per sq foot. More light is better. Heat is bad. Ventilate and use 1/4 of what the fert say's. Less is more.
But with tree's indoors side fills are needed which can be compact FLD's or bare tubes at 2700 2400 etc and you may even hang
hps 400's as side fills too. But FLD's are cooler and cost far less.
Outdoors the sun reaches the bottoms inside def needs side fill lights.

I live in Cali and my prescription state 90 plants but you can only have it in a 10' X 10' area. So you would have to be doing SOG to do 90. I usually do 25 in my 10' X 10' space.

I would try to SOG a large growing plant and have it under 1 lamp or led light of about 500w-1000w. veg it for months and then flower and you could yield alot. ive seen plants vegged for 5 months into a bush for SOG and then flowered under 2 600w led blackstar's (my brothers grow setup) and it looked about 11-13 zips worth. he probabably could have achieve a pound outdoors.
