Transporting Harvest from a Guerrilla grow, First time

What's up guys, this is my first post on here. ALL feedback is appreciated greatly.

So I'm doing my first ever grow in a wilderness area near where I live normally. It would be classified as an "outdoor guerrilla grow". But now I am in college, 2 hours away and I have a pal who is tending to its needs while I'm away. So it's nearing harvest time and the buds are looking fatter than I ever imagined they would look for my first ever grow.
I dug a 3x3 foot hole and filled it with dank ass nutrient rich soil, then transplanted my girl into her new home, she now stands around 7'6"-8' tall. The main cola is freakin me out its so big.
So now comes my questions to you guerrilla growers:
What type of container should I use for the transport? (do not say a zip lock bag bc it's a 2 hour drive and that's not going to work with wet buds.)
I'm pretty sure I want to trim the buds on site outdoors, before I put them into the container. Does anyone else do this??

Right now I have a very large plastic black box, I plan to install 3 layers of mesh into the box (using duct tape) and place the freshly trimmed buds onto the make-shift mesh shelves.

I also have been thinking of putting silicon gel packs (yes like in beef jerky and new shoes) into the bottom of my mesh shelf container so that excess moisture in the container will not build up during the 2 hour trip home. I have also considered putting torn up brown grocery bags in the bottom to absorb moisture.

After I get home with the fresh buds in my car, I will already have the drying closet set up and ready to hang buds.
I have a very small dehumidifier that I got for around 45 bucks on amazon that will be inside the dark closet during the drying process. I know that drying too fast is a bad thing, but mold is worse, and I think the dehumidifier will help my buds dry at a good pace. I also have a humidity and temp reader in the dry room to make sure it's around 65 degrees and not too humid/dry.
Then comes curing with mason jars...

Please critique my technique to improve my first harvesting experience.
Any tips?? I have pictures also

well brother i never have the time to trim in the woods. also never stay at my outside grow for more then a few minutes.. keeps traffic down and harder to find.. but i have found that if you CAN take the plant and break all the stalks to uniform the packing then you can use the vacuum sealed bags or space bags.. you will need to double or triple them but they work for a long distance run,.. i have done it with fresh nuggs from michigan to nc. but never a fresh cut plant.. they key is airlock.. if you can get it all in an airtight container then your good for the ride but not for dogs..i have also used 5 gallon buckets with the trees in airtight bags inside the buckets filled with fluids..

your system sounds good... i wouldn't use the packets you where thinking of, rather just some cardboard or brown paper bag shreds in the bottom. rough trim at the site would be ieal, you dont want to be there to long this would be a horrible time to get caught.

Pelican products makes some excellent air tight cases.

I use a small one when I travel locally.

fill it and then remove your Gloves, you should be wearing gloves or you will smell for the two hour ride and bring a change of clothes too. throw out the clothes don't put them in the trunk at least bring a bag for them too.

I was the outside with a little bleach and soap and I have had a canine miss it on a walk around my vehicle at a traffic stop.

I have a prior ticket it so they always check if they look me up.

I don't consent to search and I am extremely polite.

having my 90 lb Rottweiler Mutt also keeps them far away from the car and fucks with the dogs scent.

They will ask you to remove the dog, tell them it's unsafe and you don't want your dog shot.

My Mutt earns her food and goes Ape Shit in the windows of the car barking and snarling kicking to get out to eat the Pig, I mean officer.

Thanks for responding guys, I appriciate the input.
Are all pelican cases smell proof? It looking like I'm going to have to harvest a little earlier than expected, just got an update from a pal and he said that the lower nugs are a little brown, and that there looked to be an infestation of bugs.
I'm not too worried about it, but it is October and that means its harvest season eh? So looks like this lady "Saundra" is coming down in less than a week.
I'm going to wear shitty clothes to the grow site, then change into a button down n look nice for the 2 hr drive home.
