i have a plant which a friend gave to me its about 7 weeks into veg and has a very small pot my friend said he doesnt know what soil he used, can i transplant the plant into a completely different soil?will this effect the plant in anyway i am planning on using bio-bizz all mix for the flowering stage and wanted to tranplant into that any advice please,

ive never had a problem transplanting into a different soil. if the pot is super tiny i would pull the roots apart a bit. it will go into shock for a week or so but bounce back and love you for it!

so it will definetly be fine?,and what do you mean pull the roots should i not just put it straight into the bigger pot?or are you saying pull the roots from the soil a bit when tranplanting so they grow outwards instead of a circle formation?

with the second part your know what im pointing at... loosen them up a bit. they are probably severely root bound and growing into a giant ball. just like any plant you got to loosen them up when this happens even though most will warn of shock, about a weeks worth of nothing but root growth, you need to do this so the roots will stop the inward growth and move into their new home. I would even prune them but seeing as you are newer to the grow scene just loosen them up a bit. good luck!

i just transplanted an outdoor plant to an indoor plant. it is in shock and i want some advice on how to prune and baby it so it flourishes, im a first timer and its mainly experimental. thank you
