transplanting

how do you transplant from the 2 inch net potts to bigger pots with out hurting the roots

Very Carefully! You have to cut the plastic holder and remove the grow sponge.
Hopefully your roots are not too long, if they are long you'll have to be very gentle is all I can say.
Make sure u have the soil ready in your pot 1/2 full, make a hole for the roots, gently place the plant in and fill back with soil, carefully. Keep the plant in the sponge, obviously.

To avoid this problem in the future, buy the deluxe kit which comes with breakaway baskets and sponges.

I have successfully replanted over 10 plants from the AG using the breakaway baskets.
Also don't let the roots get too long before replanting, do it a few weeks after root development.

Now I only use my AG for starting and cloning. Then everything gets replanted in organic soil.

Hey JahsGarden,

How does the AG work for starting and cloning compared to your old way (soil?)? That is one of the main reasons I bought my AGs...

Have you noticed improvements?
