Transplanting seedlings

I have my seedlings in solo party cups and im wondering if i could get some feedback as to when to transplant to bigger pots.

When the plant and it's growth starts reaching the outer rim. I wouldn't leave seedlings in a cup that size for more than a couple weeks.

well two of the seedlings leaves have reached the outer rim and are developing there second set of true leaves and they only 5 days old. if i transplant them should i transplant my others to?

I would maybe let the smallest one get to where I would want it for transplanting, unless they are significantly behind. If they are behind and you feel the larger ones NEED to be transplanted then yes, I would transplant them all at the same time.

what about the actual transplant? should i just cut off the bottom and put the cup in the pot or should i completely take it out of the cups?

You definitely want to remove them completely from the cups. I like to not water them right before I transplant and them give a good water after they are transplanted. Letting them dry a tad makes them fall out of the solo cups easy. The more they are rooted the easier the whole cup worth of dirt will come out as a whole.

ok so im going to have to transplant. 2 of my plants are getting to big for the cups and im still gonna have some smaller plants. anyone got any ideas on a technique that wont cause much stress.
