Transplanting Problems

i went to transplant my plant today. I waited to days and didnt water it. But when i tried to get it out. It was rock hard and i couldnt pull it out. Its like i cemented it in their. Any suggestions? :idea::idea:

What do you have the plant in?? When i use party cups to start pretty much the same thing happens. I just turn it upside down and support the roots and soil with one hand and withe the other i squeeze and spin the cup until eventually it just slides out.

so what are you using?

It's best to water it first. When the soil is wet it a) is easier to get out of the pot, and b) tends to stay together versus coming apart during the process. And you want to press the side first to help it not stick

with starting in plastic or foam cups, you can just take a knife and cut it down the sides then you dont have to worry about twisting or pulling. but if you in some other kind of container always squeeze the sides before trying to pull her out.

thanks for your replies .... i did water it but it still wouldnt come out. the plant is about 2 feet so it was in the container for some time. but i just ended up cutting up my pot i didnt want to but didnt see any other choice. transplanted it into a bigger pot and its doin good
