So I have 2 vegging plants (About 5 weeks old) that I want to transplant in to a top drip hydro bucket system.
I always cut the bottom of my net off right when I get home from the store so taking the roots out is much easier and I can reuse the nets at a later date. Yet of course I can not do this for the drip system or all the clay would fall through.
My question is when putting the roots in to nets with the bottom for the drip system , should I drill a hole to lower the roots through before filling it with clay balls? Or should I carefully separate roots so they are branching out and lay them all around the netting pot? Or some other way?
This is the first transplant from aero to drip that I have done and seeing it is aero the roots are in a long flat bundle because they have nothing to attach too.
No clue how to move them so any help is appreciated.
