Im using an ebb and flow 5 gallong bucket system. All Hydroton for medium. I do my clones in an aero cloner JUST in the neoprene covers, haging below the surface. So NO RW used. Just a stem and roots hanging off of it when i transplant to the buckets.

I just rmember years ago when i did a soil grow, I THINK i added something to the soil so that it would help them transition. Is there anything equivilent for my setup> I only ask because my clonse look a little week after transplant.

Its probably the hydroton crushing the roots that's doing it because my aero to aero with no media shows nothing. I don't even think the girls realize they have been moved.

I think botanicare makes something for that, don't quote me on this it might be Silica Blast? Check it out and see if that's what you were looking for.

Not sure I understand the problem, the roots will eventually start spreading throughout the hydroton, no different than placing it in soil.
