transplanted from soil to my DWC bubbler, was it successful?

hey guys my plant was lookin real shitty, and i was getting anxious to test out my new DWC bubbler i build, so yesterday i transferred my plant to the DWC bubbler. Before i transfered it my bottom 3 leaves (plant is only 3 inches tall) were dying i fear because of either nute burn or a defiency.

Today 24 hours later, the plant still looks the same maybe a little bit better. Would i have known by now if my transplant was NOT successful? Thanks

your plant will survive usually from dirt to hydro i have done this myself with zero casualties
